General Hospital Update for Friday, 20-Jan-2012

Tracy might finally have the answer to her prayers, from a very unlikely source; Robin has come home, but might not be prepared for what she'll find; Johnny shows that he has a heart and Jax has a reunion with someone very important to him. Phew!! Just another busy Friday in Port Charles!
Starting off with Luke, we see him going to Sonny with the mysterious information that he's sure is going to be a bombshell. Sonny agrees and pays him handsomely, rewarding him with with a check that has lots of zeros-(even though we still don't know what it is yet).
Luke's not done yet. As we all know, Tracy is due to marry Anthony at sea today.
Although she's desperately trying to get out of it and enlists hapless wedding planner Maxie to help her, it looks like the jig is up.
As the "happy" couple is standing at the altar, we get to the part where people in the audience can speak now or forever hold their peace. At that moment, Luke walks in and the expression on Tracy's face says it all: she's saved!
On to Patrick and Robin. As we know, Liz told everything to Patrick as soon as Robin left: how Robin isn't going to Africa at all, but is instead seeking treatment for her out of control HIV viral load.
Patrick is understandably hurt and is shocked to get a call from Robin saying that she's coming home and that there's something she has to tell him. Hopefully this means that she's going to tell him everything?
We see her walking through the door of her home to a reunion with Patrick, so hopefully everything works out.
On to Johnny. Carly has come over to make good on her deal with him: a night with her in exchange for him keeping Michael out of the business.
He's collecting on the deal but at the last minute gets an attack of consciousness and decides he can't go through with it. He tells Carly that no, he won't recruit Michael and no, she's no longer on his sexual radar, so everybody can rest easy. I don't know if Carly is relieved or a little miffed that Johnny passed on a night with her!
Finally, Jax. He actually runs into Michael in a dark alley in Port Charles and has an almost-tearful reunion.
Michael got to ask his stepfather several important questions; including why he let his children believe he was dead!
After Jax made Michael give up the gun he had, he told him that although he was sorry for the pain that it caused Michael, Morgan and Joss, it was still best to keep everyone safe, because if he had stayed in Port Charles, Sonny would have killed him.
He actually said nice things about Carly: saying that although he and Carly still loved each other in a disfunctional way, they just didn't work together and that all of the choices Carly made were out of love for her kids.
I don't know if Michael bought it, but it was nice to hear.
Later, Jax bumps into Kate at a bar, so that reunion should be interesting!
Will Tracy actually marry Anthony? Will Robin be honest with Patrick? Stay tuned!
