General Hospital Update for Friday, 13-Jan-2012

Happy Friday the 13th--and it definately lived up to its billing today for Franco!
The bad luck was also spread around Port Charles. Sonny was in the line of fire (again); Michael plans a murder; Ethan and Cassandra grow closer--but not if Helena has anything to do with it!
Almost forgot to mention that Jason and Sam are pregnant. Why is this bad news? We don't know who the baby daddy is: Jason or Franco!
Finally, Liz decides to fess up to Patrick about Robin and how she really didn't go to a conference in Africa after all. Poor Patrick!
Starting off with Jason and Franco, we see Jason pointing a gun at the crazy artist in his studio.
He's had enough, Jason tells him, and pulls the trigger twice. Franco sinks against the wall, but is he dead, or not?
As Jason drives away, we see Franco's studio in flames, with his toy monkey burning. Looks like that's the end of the Franco story, or is it?
Jason comes home to a frantic Sam, who breaks the news to her husband that she's pregnant. It's only the beginning of this story line...
On to Michael, who is convinced that the PCPD released the right suspect (they have a habit of doing that, lol) in the Vaughn's dancers assault cases. Dante and his fellow police officers tell him that they had the wrong person, so Michael goes to Sonny, asking him to handle it.
Sonny tells him that he can't just kill a man on a hunch. Enraged, Michael stomps off. We next see him buying a gun from a dealer in an alley, so it looks like he's going to do it himself.
Over at Windemere, Cassandra and Ethan are growing closer. Casandra, the lady of mystery who confesses to Ethan that she doesn't even know how old she is, tells him what little she remembers from her past: how she remembers staying in several mansions like Windemere.
They make love in front of Laura's portrait (eww) and are laying together in the afterglow when Ethan gets a text from Luke.
As Ethan leaves to see what Luke wants, we see Helena standing in the shadows with a knife! Watch out!!
Over at GH, Patrick is frantically waiting for a message from Robin letting him know that she's safely arrived in Africa.
The only problem is that she's never left the US. As we see when she's calling her husband, Robin is standing outside of a hospital and is about to enter for treatment.
Patrick mentions to Liz that she sounded sad, and Liz decides at that moment to tell him everything: that Robin's viral load is unstable and she doesn't want to burden Patrick and Emma.
Sonny ends the show by taking a bullet in his restaurant. Could it have been from Jacks? (He's also packing a piece and noone knows he's back in town.) In my book, he's the most likely suspect and he was also lurking in the shadows in the restaurant.
Will Sonny survive this latest shooting? Will Jason and Liz know who the baby daddy is? Stay tuned!
