General Hospital Update for Friday, 6-Jan-2012

Happy 2012!! And from the looks of things,it's going to be quite a year in Port Charles!!
Robin is making plans to leave Port Charles for good, and lets Liz into her her secret; Spinelli and Ethan find out more about the mysterious Lady in White; Maxie's roommate hunting and planning a wedding reception at the same time and Michael is making plans to go to work for Johnny--no Sonny doesn't know. (yet!!)
Almost forgot to mention that Sam is going to find out whether she really has a bun in the oven--but not who the baby daddy is and Jason finally tells Patrick he's ready for his checkup--but is it too late?
We start off with Robin, who runs into Patrick at Kelly's. He's suprised to see his wife checking a copy of her will and asks why. Robin tells him something along the lines of since she's going to Africa, she wants to be prepared, but we know that's a smokescreen, as she tells Liz later at GH.
She tells Liz everything she told Jason: that her viral load is now out of control and she thinks it will be better for Patrick and Emma in the long run if she bows out of their lives.
Robin asks Liz to step into her role as a mother figure for Emma. Liz is horrified and tells her that it would be best for everybody if the Scorpio-Drakes helped Robin through this as a family! (Duh!!) Robin isn't buying it and tells Liz that she would be the best fit for the job.
On to Windemere, where more is being revealed about the Lady in White.
Ethan and Spinelli track her to Windemere and both go through the false bookcase (a secret entrance) into another room.
She comes in, sees both of them there, but everyone is stunned when Ewen comes in and says "she's a patient of mine!" This can only get better...
It got pretty darn fine for Monica and Liz when they accidentally ran into Ewen in the GH showers!! (Did I say nice guns, lol??)
Monica actually offered him a staff job which he said he'd get back to her on.
On to Maxie. She's roommate hunting (she turned Spinelli down and begged Matt to move in) and now she's got to plan a wedding reception for ANTHONY ZACHARRA!! On Friday the 13th, no less!!
The only problem is that we're not sure if the bride (Tracy) will be there or not!!
Gareth Floyd put a huge story in the paper about the upcoming nuptials, which Tracy is trying to get pulled--almost a case of too little, too late, if you ask me.
Michael, on the other hand, is seeking a job with the Zacharra organization, even though everyone (Johnny included) is trying to talk him out of it.
He's not listening to anyone, especially Jason and Carly, because he's too upset over being kept in the dark over Jacks really being alive, and I can't say as I blame him.
And speaking of Jason, he actually does go to see Patrick at GH to get his post-op checkup. (I noticed his fists were curling again), but it might be too late--as he actually collapses in front of him!!
Finally, does Sam have a bun in the oven? And if she does, who's the baby daddy--Jason, or Franco? It looks like we're going to get the answer to that question soon, as Sam took a pregnancy test today and found out the results...
Will Patrick get Jason through this latest crisis? Is Sam PG? Will Anthony and Tracy tie the knot?? Tune in next week!!
