Christmas Eve in Port Charles!! Maybe Christmas miracles can and will happen!
Let's see: Lulu and Dante tie the knot, Bensonhurst style; mysterious gifts appear under the Quartermaine Christmas tree, Sam and Jason reaffirm their commitment to each other and unknown to Patrick, Robin is having a bittersweet Christmas.
Almost forgot to mention that Liz is also having a meloncholy Christmas, trying to get over Lucky (AGAIN) and now Cam is letting her know that he, too is hurting!
What could be a more perfect day for a wedding than Christmas Eve, right?
After Lulu and Dante decide to just do it and get hitched already, Dante contacts his cousin, who is a priest in the old neighborhood.
After his cousin agrees to do the ceremony, the happy couple goes to his church and is visited by Olivia, who is naturally beside herself with joy.
Olivia contacted most of the family, but Dante told her that she'd have to uninvite them, as small is small, and the only invited guest is going to be Olivia!
Anyway, was there any doubt that the ceremony was as beautiful as could be? Olivia (who was about ready to buy stock in Kleenex), opens the church doors after the ceremony and yells "they did it!!" to the neighborhood.
The Falconeri clan (who was waiting outside the church the whole time) came rushing in, and well, you know the rest, lol. Welcome to the family, Lulu!!
Moving on to Port Charles, the Quartermaines are remembering the last gifts that their departed significant others gave them before they died: monogrammed cufflinks to Edward from Lila and a bracelet to Monica from Alan.
Anyway, Tracy sends Big Alice on an errand for the perfect Christmas dinner. Time flies and three presents under the tree are found by Monica!
Amazingly, they are monogrammed cufflinks for Edward, a bracelet for Monica and what looks like diamonds and an invitation to a New Year's Eve bash for Tracy! No cards were included and everyone (including Big Alice) swears that they didn't do it.
Over at the Penthouse, Jason and Sam are also exchanging gifts. Jason gave Sam a Phoenix ornament signifying rebirth and Sam gave Jason a dragon ornament signifying strength. Just a good way to reaffirm commitment on Christmas Eve!
Finally, it's also Christmas Eve at the Drakes. Robin and Patrick decide to open one present and Robin is brought to tears by hers: a deed for a large property lot.
Patrick tells her that the lot is so much bigger than what they have that there will be a spot for a play structure for Emma and Robin cries. (Patrick doesn't know that she will be leaving after the holidays).
Anyway, Emma wakes up and joins the fun, and Patrick breaks out the video camera, taking shots of his wife and daughter enjoying Christmas and making memories for when they will need them.
Liz is also trying to make the best of the holidays for her boys, and Cam is letting her know in no uncertain terms that he's hurting too. He asks her if Lucky left because of her lies and stomps off.
The doorbell rings and suprise!! It's Ewen, the shrink who makes housecalls. He's brought a box of paints to Liz as a Christmas present/peace offering and tells her to call him when she's ready to talk.
After Ewen leaves (and Liz was not very nice to him, btw), Cam comes running out and tells Liz that he loves her, so they made up, which was nice to see.
