The Lisa Niles case might be solved--or is it? Franco is back, and Sam is having to deal with what happened in Hawaii; Jason flips out and even though she's only been a detective for a short time, Padilla is really making her mark!
Starting off with the Lisa Niles murder investigation, all of the suspects have been brought back to the scene of the crime: the cruise ship's bar.
Mac announces to the room that the PCPD now has the murder weapon: a wrench and that the murderer actually left something on board the boat that would tie them to the murder.
Everyone's on board; including Matt, who has been MIA for the last three days. Everyone could also be guilty, but noone comes forward.
Mac sends everyone home, but not before saying that someone could be coming to the station to be arrested!
We then see First Officer Briggs coming back to the scene later. Dante bursts into the bar, turns on the light, and is stunned to see Olivia!!!! (Remember, she was using the wrench on the ship's engines).
On to Franco. He's still sending messages to Jason, and wants him to meet him at the brownstone where they first met.
The only problem is that Jason is under lockup for going after the former Mayor Floyd, (who's now going by his middle name Prescott; no more Garreth, since he bought himself a newspaper. Get it? "Prescott"?? Bad pun...).
Anyway, Sam and Michael go to the Brownstone, where Sam makes the connection that what Franco wants them to see is under a trashcan lid. (The circle matches what was in Franco's message).
She opens the lid, and there's a gift from Franco--a DVD, wrapped as a Christmas present.
Sam shouldn't have watched it; as we see her in tears. I think it's safe to assume that it's a video of her sexual assault by Franco! Jason will flip when he finds out, imho...
Meanwhile, over at the PCPD, Jason is in the interrogation room and tells Alexis (now representing him) that he has to get out and hunt Franco down.
Prescott invites himself in, and goads Jason to the point of Jason going after him again--and this time he almost really does kill him!! Alexis and Michael have to pull Jason off the former Mayor and of course, there are no PCPD cops there.
Finally, Padilla. After only a few days as her partner, Dante can see that she is smart and ambitious.
It was her idea to get all of the Lisa Niles suspects together and she begs Dante to give her the case of the assaulted Vaughn's strippers. So it looks like she's going to get that one, which would be a good thing, imho.
That's about all that happened today. Stay tuned!
