General Hospital Update for Wednesday, 23-Nov-2011

Happy Thanksgiving! And of course, the residents of Port Charles are getting ready to celebrate this holiday in their own style--breaking some traditions along the way.
The Quartermaines are getting ready to ring in the holiday-but without the traditional Quartermaine pizza; Lulu's cooking her first turkey dinner for Dante, but burned the pies, which could lead to tragedy, as we will see; Sonny and Kate are back where it started and Carly and Shawn are getting ready to steam up Kelly's! Phew! Hot enough for you?
Starting off at the Q mansion, we see that Edward, Monica and Big Alice (Yay!!! Alice is BACK!!) are making holiday preparations, along with Tracy's sniping, so it's a typical Q holiday.
Edward stuns everyone when he says that no, Cook is NOT serving pizza this year, but since Michael, Jason and Sam are coming, he felt it best to go the traditional route and have turkey with all the trimmings.
Tracy answers the door and it's a floral delivery--from Anthony!! The note reminds her that he still knows about the dirty cash she pumped into ELQ and he's "waiting for his night"!!
Tracy calls Luke and tells him that she doesn't expect him to show up for dinner, but it would be nice, and then tells Edward everything about the money.
Suprise!! He knew all along and tells his daughter that she's going to have to get herself out of this one.
The drama peaks when everyone starts singing (a holiday tradition) and Jason promptly throws a sideboard filled with food to the floor! He's angry over the lack of progress finding Franco...
Over at Lulu and Dante's apartment, Lulu is preparing her first holiday dinner, but burns the pies when the couple starts well, YOU know....
Anyway, she sends Dante over to Olivia's for pies--but on his way over there, Dante sees a robbery in progress.
He runs after the crooks, but it's just too soon after his injuries and he collapses in an alley! I hope this ends well!!
On to Sonny and Kate. They are spending the holiday in New York City, but Kate tells Sonny that they have to go back to Bensonhurst, where it started for both of them.
They wind up on the stoop of the home that Sonny grew up in in Bensonhurst. It's covered with grafitti, but Kate gently tells him that he will not move past the pain until he is able to confront it. Hopefully, he is able to go inside.
Finally, over at Kelly's Carly and Shawn have the FEVER!!
They have a Thanksgiving dinner cookoff--Carly's catered dinner from the Metrocourt vs. Shawn's homecooked meal.
Carly admits that Shawn wins handsdown and then the fun starts. They put Joss to bed in a crib upstairs, Shawn starts the jukebox and you can see the sexual tension between them! Even Michael's calling Carly didn't stop things!! Happy Thanksgiving, you crazy kids!!
