General Hospital Update for Friday, 16-Sep-2011

Fall is fast approaching, which means that Sam and Jason's wedding day is not far behind! And of course, we all know where the blushing bride is going to go to get fitted for her dress!
What else happened today? Luke's back in town, but from the looks of things, it seems like his family has moved on; Lucky has figured out that Luzetta's bakery is making more than cupcakes--now hopefully SOMEONE can bust out Maxie and Liz; Olivia appeals to what little Falconeri loyalty Kate has left and Sonny and Kate finally come face-to-face! Busy day in Port Charles!!
We start off at the Haunted Star, where Lulu is rescuing Ethan from yet another failed con. What they don't know is that Luke is listening to their conversation, right outside the door.
Lulu tells her brother that she bought the Star in an attempt to get her wayward father to come home, but now realizes that it's pointless, adding that she needs to move forward with her own life.
She's called away by yet another frantic 911 call from Kate. Seems that Sam's wedding dress has arrived, but no Maxie AND no Sam.
After Lulu and Ethan leave, Luke walks in. He notices the chips on the floor and sees the note on the bar that Skye wrote Ethan, saying that she was going back to her life. Seems like Luke is missing the boat everywhere he turns!
On to Lucky and the action at Luzetta's Bakery. He's searching for clues in the GH drug ring case, and finally figures out that the Bakery is a front for Anthony's operation.
How does he know? Let's just say that Lucky figured out that the secret is in the flour! He opens up a flour bag and figures out that it has cocaine, not flour in it.
What Lucky doesn't realize is that Anthony's men are holding Liz and Maxie, not far away from him!
Spinelli is on to it, thank god! He figures out about the trail of icing Maxie left him as a clue--after Maxie and Liz were able to mace their guards to try and escape.
He sees Maxie run past him being chased by a guard, and I am sure he's going to jump into it soon.
While this is going down, Kate is throwing her usual hissy fits at Crimson. She's furious that Maxie is nowhere to be found and isn't in the mood to hear another plea from Olivia to PLEASE talk some sense into Sonny, before he goes down and takes half the town of Port Charles with him!
She leaves to go find Sonny, and leaves Olivia in charge at Crimson....
Lulu in the meantime has arrived, and is ready when Sam comes for her wedding dress fitting. THAT at least goes well, and Sam leaves happy.
Everything ends when Kate actually goes to Sonny's restaurant and yes, finally meets him face-to-face. Their reunion is actually a nice moment.
