General Hospital Update for Friday, 2-Sep-2011

It was a good news/bad news day in Port Charles today. Jason woke up, but Kristina might be in over her head; Morgan might be lost to Sonny, but Michael is firmly on his side--and Spinelli might be BACK, meaning no more Jackal PI, but there are some reallly shady dealings going on at the bakery!!
Starting off with Jason; we see that everyone is at GH waiting to see if he is going to wake up from his surgery. The real question is: which Jason will we see: Jason Quartermaine or Jason Morgan?
Sam is constantly at his bedside. She only leaves for a second when other visitors come in.
Spinelli enters his hospital room in full Jackal PI mode, but something happens. I don't know what it is, but his memory is triggered and he drops the Jackal, PI voice and starts speaking as Spinelli. YAY!! Hopefully he's back!!
Sonny arrives, sees Michael and asks if Jason is awake. When he hears not yet, he tries to find another doctor.
This doesn't need to happen, because Jason finally opens his eyes when only Sam is in the room.
Things are not so rosy for Kristina, however. After she visited the hospital, gushing to Sam about her hot relationship with Ethan, she was crushed to hear from her sister that Ethan just isn't in to her.
She goes to the Warehouse for a crying session, but something happens and she collapses and falls off the stairs.
On to Sonny, who is at Carly's house, demanding to see Morgan.
Carly tells him that THAT isn't going to happen anytime soon, because she sent Morgan to military school to keep him away from Sonny!!
The icing on the cake? She registered him as Morgan Benson!!
Sonny is furious and they have a huge fight over it. He sees the divorce papers, signed by Jacks and not signed by Carly and they fight over that.
Things end when Carly throws Sonny out of her house, calling him a bastard to boot.
Later, Carly picks up the divorce papers, and picks up a pen, but we never see if she signs them or not.
Sonny tells Michael his side of it while they are waiting at GH and Michael tells him that he will always be on Sonny's side.
Finally, over at the bakery. Spinelli, while he was Jackal PI, had been staking them out in the alley.
Jason had assigned him there because he thought nothing was going on, but it turns out there's a whole lot going on--and of course, Anthony is behind it all!!
Turns out the bakery is a front for Anthony's drug ring, so things are going to get very interesting before they are done!
Will Jason be Jason Quartermaine or Jason Morgan? Will Kristina recover from this latest hurt? Will we discover the secret ingredient in the bakery's cupcake frosting? Tune in next time!
