General Hospital Update for Monday, 15-Aug-2011

Personalites seem to be changing on General Hospital today..What or when will THe Jackal PI return to just simple, sweet Spinelli? Maxie and LuLu(Moonlight) wonder as The Jackal continues to flirt with Lu.LuLu tells him that he never really loved her,and that he had loved Georgie. (I still miss Georgie! She was a special teen..)LU TELLS Spinelli that Georgie was in love with him, but she couldn't tell him because she died. Spinelli looks pensive as he leaves the room . He falls asleep at the editor's desk. This may be the trigger that brings his personality back. Who knows? On the other end of the spectrum, who will Jason become? He is blessed because Partick says that the mass was not a tumor but it was a calcification. When Jason does awake from surgery, Sam tells him about the pink tux she has ordered for him to wear in their wedding.He looks aghast, of course. He wants to leave his hospital bed and go to help Sonny and Carly. Sam tells him: " If you do this,I am going to walk away forever." This causes Jason to rethink. Sam adds that they are trying to build a life together. She says :" I don't want to be selfish or pushy but.."She does give in to his calling Carly. Carly apologizes to him ,and then, Jason faints. Sam has said :" Enough about Carly, You can't be there every minute for her." I like this scene because Sam lays her cards on the table.
In the meantime, an irate, dark Sonny goes to Robin's home to confront Jax. Robin tries to mediate when these two argue. Sonny is definitely out of control sooooooo he pulls a gun on Jax. He shoots and Robin takes the shot in her arm. She tells Jax to leave. Sonny is in a daze and little Emma looks on as Patrick enters. He is beyond angry with Sonny for causing harm to Robin and scaring his daughter. He is about to call the police, but Robin stops him. Later, Sonny plots with Max to kill Jax and make it look like an accident, He is so out of control that Dante must stop him. Dante arrives with policemen to arrest Sonny for attacking him.
My question is : " Why does Shawn try to help save Carly in every way? Are these two just friends? He took Josslyn safely back to her mom. Jax lurks in the shadows as he observes Shawn with Carly. Yet, he leaves after listening to them.It's a sad time for Jax.He looks so alienated and forlorn..
With all this havoc on GH today, the question is will the Jackal and Jason return to their original personalites or take on old /new personas? Tune into tomorrow to find out.
