General Hospital Update for Friday, 12-Aug-2011

The storm is finally starting to clear in Port Charles--but not if Sonny or Anthony have anything to do with it!
Three good things happened today: Joss was reunited with Carly, thanks to Shawn; Monica and Sam bonded and Johnny played piano (Brandon Barash, his portrayer, is a classically-trained pianist and imho does not play nearly enough on the show).
The bad stuff? Sonny burst in on the Drake home-and not for a social call; Siobhan is once again in serious danger at GH, and not for a botched surgery this time and Lucky still hasn't come down from the drug trip he was on. Lots to talk about!
Starting with the good, we see that Jax still has Josselyn and is in the middle of the storm. He's got no car and is far from his jet, plus the weather isn't good for his little girl.
He goes to Robin's house, and begs to borrow her car so he can get to the airport. Robin tries to talk sense into him and begs Jax to at least let her change Joss's clothes and diaper.
They don't know that someone else has come to the Drake home: Shawn Butler, who has watched the whole thing through the window.
Shawn and Robin convince Jax that the best thing to do is give Joss to Carly, who is waiting at her home with Olivia.
As they are having a tearful reunion, Sonny runs through the Drake's door for a confrontation with Jax--but we shall see it's a case of too little, too late, as Joss is thankfully out of there.
Meanwhile, over at GH, Monica and Sam are bonding over Jason. Monica tells her daughter-in-law to be that she realizes that Sam should be the one making decisions, since she really no longer knows her son. She apologizes for any harsh remarks that may have been said in the heat of the moment.
As they are waiting for the Pathology report from Jason's biopsy, Sam gives Monica a picture of Jake. Monica is overwhelmed; saying that he looked just like Jason at that age.
The last good thing of the day? Anthony presents Johnny with his very own piano; but Johnny's radar is up. He suspects that his dad is behind the drug ring at GH and demands to know what he knows.
Anthony is in denial mode. Johnny actually sits down and plays the piano, which was a treat!
Bad stuff? Since we've already talked about Sonny, I can tell you that things are still not right with Lucky. Thankfully, he's now got Liz. They are still at the church, but Liz is trying to help him.
One of Anthony's employees has gotten into GH as an Orderly and has his marching orders: to take out Siobhan, who is recovering from her injuries in the car accident. We see him standing outside of her room and know that this can NOT be good.
That was about it for today. Can't wait till Monday!
