General Hospital Update for Friday, 29-Jul-2011

Lots of loose ends were tied up today--or were they? Let's see: Liz thinks she's got a lead on the GH drug case for Lucky, but it's just a case of her playing Nancy Drew; Tracy is getting a little too close to Anthony for her taste; Sonny tries to get closure; Robin and Carly turn a simple breakfast at Kelly's into the catfight dujour and Lucky's getting more than he bargained for at the docks.
Starting off with the GH drug case, Liz comes across a new orderly trying to get into a locked Medication Room. He's not wearing a GH badge and when Liz calls him on it, he stammers that HR said he could pick his up after 5 pm. (Friends, in my working experience, I can tell you that HR most definately does NOT work past 5 pm. I would have called him on that one too!!)
Anyway, Epiphany shows up and orders Liz back to the desk. She reminds her that she's still on probation and one false move, etc...
Turns out that the guy was on the level and the real bad guy had a badge and a key and was totally missed by Liz Weber, Jr. Detective!
Back at the docks, Lucky's old dealer is talking with Anthony, who's behind the drug heists. (Big suprise, right?) He also tells the dealer that he wants Lucky back on dope.
Lucky shows up for a meeting and the dealer sees that he hasn't taken any of the pills. His thugs pin Lucky against the wall and inject him with the stuff.
While this is going on, Anthony has made his way to the MetroCourt Spa, where he walks in on a bathrobed-clad Tracy waiting for a treatment.
Turns out he's in the same bathrobe, which a distraught Tracy notices when she opens her eyes! She tries to get out of the room, but is distressed to discover that it's locked. This means that Tracy is forced to listen to Anthony tell her (AGAIN) while his investing in ELQ will be a good thing and finishing off with the reasons why orchids are a seductive flower! (Nobody, but NOBODY does crazy as well as Bruce Weitz!! Love him and love what he's done with the role of Anthony!!)
Sonny, on the other hand, is trying to get closure from the Brenda situation. He's actually headed over to the condo they first shared and is seen sitting on the stoop. We can see it's fallen on hard times, as the stoop is covered in graffitti and the building is for sale. Identical to Sonny's life with Brenda....
Over at Kelly's, Carly and Josselyn walk in on Patrick and Emma having pancakes. Patrick feeds Carly a slice of pancake off his fork, just as Robin walks in.
He feels the temperature in the room going up, so Patrick volunteers to take the kids to the swings.
Robin wastes no time. She tells Carly that she knows that she was behind Jacks being drugged in his hotel room and that she's also behind Brenda leaving Sonny! (Wrong on both counts).
Carly actually takes it pretty well, but my question is this: why didn't one of these women just get up and leave, if they hate each other so much?
Anyway, it gets worse for Carly. She goes over to GH to get a prescription filled for Josselyn and runs into Liz, who tells her about Sam and Jason being engaged! From the looks of things, THAT didn't go over too well!
