General Hospital Update for Friday, 22-Jul-2011

Everything seems like it's smooth sailing in Port Charles this summer, but as we shall soon see, there are major storm clouds brewing under the surface! Mac puts Lucky on a potentially major drug case, but it might be too much for his ace detective; Jackal PI is finishing up his "major" case at the bakery; there's a mob mole at ELQ and it's not who Tracy thinks it is and Robin is laying down the law at GH!
Almost forgot to mention that Dante and Lulu are on Helena Cassidine's private island and Liz has returned to work--but not if Siobhan has anything to do with it!
Starting off with Lucky, he's back at the PCPD. Mac tries to tell him that he thinks it's too early, but against his better judgement puts him on a potentially major case.
GH has reported thefts of major amounts of pain-killers. The thieves have even taken them from the hospital by the pallet, so it's leading to major dollars.
Lucky wants to prove that he's on it, so he jumps in with both feet; even asking Liz if she would help him.
It's getting to be too much, as we see Lucky actually placing a call to his old dealer! I don't know if it's part of the case, or really that he needs a fix, but we will find out.
And while we're at GH, we see new Chief of Staff Robin laying down the law! Surgeons are now going to have to monitor drugs before their surgeries and do other tasks that nurses normally do. She's outlined everything in a series of emails everyone MUST read, and even has the OR Schedule redesigned in a rainbow chart!
Who's leading the rebellion? Patrick is egging it on, but Matt is the one who actually goes to Maxie asking that she talk sense into her cousin. Maxie tells him nothing doing!
Robin has also asked Liz to come back to work at the desk only--essentially lifting her suspension.
Siobhan sees her working at the desk and is understandably fuming. She storms over to the PCPD and tells Lucky that now she's thinking about bringing back her malpractice suit.
Meanwhile, Jackal PI is finishing up his casework for the big "case" at the bakery, and tells Maxie that he actually got a ticket for loitering outside of the establishment.
After they eat some of the evidence (the delicious cupcakes that the bakery is known for), Maxie tries to give Jackal a computer lesson, hoping that would jar his memory, and then goes to the PCPD to fix his ticket.
On to bigger problems at ELQ. Abby gets an unwelcome visitor: Anthony, bearing flowers. She, along with Michael and Tracy, tell him to leave--but not before he lets slip that he has information about a deal that ELQ recently made, and he still wants to invest in the company!
After he leaves, Tracy confronts Michael and Abby, saying that they gave Anthony the information, which they did not! The mole is actually the ELQ exec who has been training Michael, but obviously has ulterior motives!
Finally, Lulu and Dante. They are camping out on Helena Cassidine's private island--just so Lulu can find out where Luke is.
Lulu convinces Dante to apply for a job doing security for Helena, but to leave his PCPD badge behind this time!
Dante is able to get into Helena's home, but during the interview, she asks him to take his shirt off!! (YUCK...) THEN she starts talking about knives...this is one sick dame!!
