General Hospital Update for Wednesday, 20-Jul-2011

Jason gives Sam tantalizing, cryptic clues about their rooftop evening.
It's an awkward "family night" for Lucky, Liz, and Siobhan. It is quite obvious that Liz never thought that Siobhan would come when she invited her.
Lucky goes to check on Aiden and Cameron, and Siobhan and Liz bare their claws!
Siobhan tells Liz that she can cut the sweetness and light and say what she really feels, as Lucky is out of the room and can't here her now.
A livid Jax tells Carly that she won, and she should just leave it at that; game over. But Carly being Carly, she doesn't.
Alexis interrupts Jax and Carly's escalating argument.
Jason tells Sam to meet him in one hour on the rooftop for their date. As soon as she's gone, Jason calls Maxie for help planning the aesthetics for the evening.
Liz kicks Siobhan out of her house when Siobhan accuses Liz of using Jake's death to hang onto Lucky. Siobhan is happy to go, but not before telling Liz that Lucky will get tired of rescuing her some day, and see her for the conniving woman that she really is.
Alexis asks Carly to leave Jax's hotel suite, then she attempts to reason with a wounded Jax.
Jax hates Carly; he's out for blood! He tells Alexis that he has nothing left to lose, now.
Meanwhile, in Brenda's hotel suite, Brenda tells Sonny that she has to leave him. She says that he could change, and could leave the mob if he wanted to, but he never will, and she can see that now. Sonny says that she can't stay away from him, and that she will come back, but Brenda is pretty firm about the fact that this is THE end. She has finally learned her lesson, and even though she still loves him, she can see things clearly for the first time.
Sonny still doesn't appear to accept that her decision about them is final, and says he will see her tomorrow. After the door closes behind him, a devastated Brenda collapses in a sobbing heap against it.
Maxie and Jason hastily plan rooftop magic for Sam and Jason's evening.
Liz gives Lucky her version of her fight with Siobhan, saying that Lucky will be better off without Siobhan in his life anyway. Liz is taken aback when Lucky isn't sure he wants to be without Siobhan.
Carly comes to see Brenda, trying to goad Brenda into returning to Sonny's arms by saying if Brenda doesn't want him, Carly will be happy to take him back. Brenda tells Carly that she ended things with Sonny already. Carly tells her that she doesn't deserve Sonny, and that he will be better off without her.
Liz admits that she is more conflicted about where she and Lucky stand regarding being a couple than Lucky is. Lucky excuses himself, and leaves.
Sam goes to see Alexis, ostensibly to tell her about Molly's disillusionment with love, but really to tell her that she thinks Jason is going to propose. An astute Alexis guesses that Sam and Jason are contemplating marriage before Sam tells her.
Meanwhile, Maxie accidentally drops the engagement ring that Jason chose for Sam off the roof. Jason is annoyed.
Carly goes to see Sonny to let him know what she did to try and send Brenda flying back into his arms. Carly thinks her scheme will work. Sonny is skeptical; it's dawning on him that things are different with this breakup with Brenda. As Carly and Sonny talk, Brenda appears in the doorway.
