Lucky comes home from work during the day ostensibly to pamper a recovering Siobhan, but really wants to make sure that Siobhan is alright with him going to Liz's house to have a family night with Aiden and Cameron.
Jason and Sam discuss the setup of Jax.
Sonny shows up on Carly's doorstep. Carly appreciates that he framed Jax to help her win custody of Josslyn, but doesn't want Jax to go to prison for something he didn't do.
Lucky and Siobhan discuss their marriage. Lucky denies that theirs is solely a green card marriage. Siobhan is skeptical. She recognizes that Lucky was not in love with her or ready for marriage at the time they married. She thinks he likes saving damsels in distress who need to be saved, and steers him toward Elizabeth if that's truly what he wants, because she (Siobhan) doesn't want to have to constantly be in situations where she needs to be rescued, but Liz seems to like them well enough....
Brenda goes to see Jax. She expresses sorrow for what Sonny did to frame him. Jax asks her to tell the judge that she thinks Sonny framed him, to attempt to do damage control in the custody hearing.
Sonny tells Carly that Jax played dirty first by bribing the court-appointed mediator, and he played dirty in return; he's not to blame for the fact that he's better at being underhanded than Jax. Carly asks Sonny if he realizes that he could lose Brenda by helping her in the way that he did.
Siobhan tells Lucky to be honest with her if he wants to be with Liz. Lucky says that he only wants to share parenting duties with Liz, not romance. (He isn't very convincing.)
Brenda agrees to talk to the judge on Jax's behalf, but is skeptical about whether it will matter. Sonny lied to her, and she doesn't have any tangible proof.
Sonny tells Carly that he won't lose Brenda. Brenda is mad, but once she calms down, she'll come back to him like she always has.
Carly tells Sonny that Brenda can't handle his dangerous way of life, and she never has been able to do so.
A deflated Molly comes to see Sam and Jason, disillusioned about love. She says that love is make-believe, and doesn't exist in real life. If it was real, it would last, and she proceeds to give a litany of failed relationships, among them Carly and Jax, Alexis and Sonny, and Alexis and Ric.
Sonny and Carly, and then Brenda and Jax, show up outside the judge's chambers for his ruling in Josslyn's custody case, and bicker. Brenda blasts Carly for having frame Jax so that she could keep custody of Josslyn. Jax calls Sonny a coward, and a thug. Trash with money is still trash, Jax taunts.
Siobhan tells Lucky to go spend time with his sons and stop worrying about her. Lucky shows up at Liz's house for family night.
The judge nixes hearing anything else as testimony in the custody hearing, and banishes Sonny and Brenda from his quarters, so it is only Jax and Carly sitting before him when he renders his decision. The judge grants Carly full custody of Josslyn. Jax will have to pass a drug test, and can then see his daughter only at Carly's discretion. When she comes out of the judge's chambers, Carly thanks Sonny, but worries about what this will mean for his marriage to Brenda. Sonny says he will work it out with Brenda. He rationalizes his actions by saying that since Carly is in a position of power with relation to her daughter, she won't be needing Sonny to run interference for her, and he can work on straightening things out with Brenda.
Siobhan surprises Lucky and Liz by showing up for family night. Liz doesn't look happy.
Carly comes to a bitter Jax's hotel suite, trying to offer an olive branch to him, but Jax isn't biting.
Sonny comes to Brenda's hotel suite, and wants her to come home with him now that the custody hearing is over, so they can begin to reconcile.
Brenda is devastated.(home, where's that??) She tells him that she never had a home except when she was with him, and now she doesn't have one at all.
