General Hospital Update for Friday, 1-Jul-2011

Happy July! And if today's visit to Port C is any indication, it's going to be sizzling!
Let's see: Liz is coming to terms with the potentially fatal mistake she made during Siobhan's surgery; Liz and Lucky are drawing closer now that the truth of Aidan's paternity has been revealed--and this will only help them, as yes, she's baaackk!!! HELENA is back in Port Charles.
You could also say that two other Port C residents are having identity problems, with potentially fatal results. Spinelli/aka Jackal PI has run afoul of Sonny, and only Maxie can help. Lulu is working undercover at the Florida brothel where Luke grew up, and it seems like only Dante can rescue her.
Last but not least, Jason brought up the M word to Sam!
Starting off with Liz, we see that Patrick and Robin have finished their investigation into Siobhan's near death during her recent surgery.
After reviewing the chart, they determine that the Irish lass was given an incorrect medication, leading to her near-fatal drop in blood pressure and Liz was the only person who could have done it.
She's given the bad news by Matt, and immediately says that she could potentially lose her nursing license. (duh!!)
Liz immediately tells Lucky (an apology to Siobhan would be nice) and Lucky is very forgiving.
And speaking of Lucky and Liz, they are going to have draw closer, now that Nicholas has left town and Helena has come back!
Lucky freaks when he goes over to Liz's house and sees Helena holding Aidan. He wastes no time getting her out of there, not before he lets her know that he's on to her game of raising a Spencer as a Cassedine in the form of Aidan, etc.
Now for identity problems in Port Charles. Starting with Lulu, who is literally working as a hooker in disguise at the Florida brothel that Luke and Bobbie were raised at.
She's looking for Luke and takes a job serving drinks. Wearing sleazy hooker clothes, she's amazed to find Dante talking to Lupe on her first night!
Dante tries to buy her time, but after Lulu tells him that she only serves drinks, Javier, the owner comes over to see what's wrong, and it can only get worse for Lulu...
Now for Spinelli, who as always is a work in progress...
He signs himself out of the hospital and goes over to Sonny's house, fully in his Jackal PI character.
Sonny tells him that he needs him to find his 20 million dollars that he hid in cyberspace. The only problem is that the Jackal has lost all of his computer skills!
He's almost pushing up daisies, but is saved by Jason and Maxie, who reminds Sonny about all of the favors she's done for him!!
Finally, the M word....Maxie tells Jason that Sam wants to get married, and Jason brings this up in a very sweet way to his girlfriend at the end of the show. Sam finally figures out what he's trying to say--and we will have to wait till Tuesday to find out what her response is!!
