General Hospital Update for Friday, 3-Jun-2011

It's June! And that means summer is around the corner!! But it's hot, hot, HOT in Port Charles right now.
Let's see: Krissy is bound and determined to get Ethan, and doesn't care who knows it; Carly was forced to fire Shawn after Jax turned up dirt on the ex-Marine--and Shawn lets Joss's dad know exactly how he feels; Lulu's plan to be the Queen of the Haunted Star comes closer to reality, thanks to Nick, and Brenda hears from Michael and Krissy how Sonny's business affected their childhoods.
Starting off with Krissy, we see that she hasn't dropped the older look that Maxie helped put together. (yes, she's still wearing THAT!!).
She runs into Michael at Kelly's and tells him that she's sorry that she laid into him so much about Abby, adding that everyone should be seeing someone with more experience.
Michael immediately knows where this one is going, and starts telling his sister why running after Ethan is a bad idea. (would the fact that he's MARRIED have anything to do with it? Hellooooo??).
One thing leads to another, and they wind up at Sonny's house: just in time to hear Sonny and Brenda's fight about Sonny being able to keep Alec safe.
Brenda asks both kids for their honest feedback about how Sonny's business affected them and they give truthful answers: Michael saying that sometimes he felt that kids wanted to be friends with him just because of his last name and Krissy adding that she wasn't allowed to be with Sonny much growing up, but still loves him anyway.
Moving on to the Haunted Star, we see that Tracy is gently telling Lulu that since she thinks that Luke is never coming back, she is going to put the Star up for sale.
Lulu pleads with her stepmother not to do it, saying that she's confident she can get the floating casino back up and running. Tracy isn't buying it, adding that Lulu is a classic co-dependent and she is done with enabling Luke's addictions.
Lulu asks Nicholas for a loan to buy the Star outright, and her brother gives it to her as a gift--after expressing his doubts: namely Luke's less than stellar track record and Lulu's lack of experience in running a business.
Finally, the brewing custody battle between Carly and Jax.
Jax goes over to Carly's house with a bombshell: footage that proves that Shawn deliberately killed one of his men in Iraq! He tells her that there is no way that he's not going to use this in court to get sole custody of Joss.
Heartbroken, Carly tells the former Marine that she has no choice but to fire him. Shawn tells her that there is no way that he would do anything to stand between her and Joss, but it gets better.
He goes over to the Metrocourt to confront Jax about it, and wounds up slugging him--right in front of a stunned Carly!! Not a good plan....
