General Hospital Update for Friday, 27-May-2011

As always, it was a busy Friday in Port Chuckles! Lulu is getting used to the fact that she's no longer at Crimson and is now the Queen of the Haunted Star, Jax's attempt to do an end run around Carly blew up in his face, thanks to an unlikely source; the hit woman who really killed Brandon is going to come to justice and Liz helps a mother who is in the same boat.
Starting off with Lulu; we see that she was forced to decide between Crimson and helping Luke while he goes thru rehab, and she chose Luke. She's 86'ing her Crimson phone contacts with glee, even though Dante is trying to convince her that maybe this isn't the best solution for everyone.
He tries to talk her into a camping trip to the Grand Canyon this summer, but isn't getting very far. It's quite obvious that of all of Luke's children, Lulu has been the one most hurt by Luke's drinking, so it will be interesting to see what rehab does for him.
On to Jax. He's sneakily trying to get an emergency order for custody of Josselyn. Alexis is leading him on, but is telling him all the different reasons that the judge will tell him and Carly to work it out.
Anyway, Carly currently has Joss, but Jax sweetly asks if he can pick her up early, which she agrees to. He tells Alexis that he has no plans to give her back.
Jason catches wind of this and tips off Carly. When Jax and Alexis go to Carly's home, Jason is there, reading to Joss.
Jax asks Alexis to show the order, but Alexis confesses and says she never filed the paperwork!! Whoops!! She tells Carly and Jax that she wants both of them to work it out, adding all the different reasons that Jax is going to look like the unreasonable parent to a judge.
Jax storms out of the house, with Alexis trailing in his wake. He confronts her when they get to Kelly's; saying that he thought they were friends, etc.
On to Anthony and the hit woman he hired to kill Brandon. Johnny intercepts a call from her trying to blackmail Anthony for more money. He tips off Michael, who decided to meet Johnny at the docks where he confronted the woman.
Johnny told Michael that if it got ugly and guns were pulled, to call 911 and go straight to the police.
Michael was smart enough to record the conversation between the two, and got the woman on tape confessing to killing Brandon, which was enough for Dante to take her into custody.
Anthony? He was left duc-taped to a chair, but was able to try and recruit Abbie when she came over looking for Michael. Thankfully, she wasn't buying any of it.
Michael was able to tell her at her apartment that all of the charges were dropped, and the lovers celebrated.
On to GH, where Liz is still trying to bury herself in work. Unfortunately, the paramedics brought in a small boy who was hit by a car, and any of the scar tissue she had built up around Jake's death was ripped off.
It got worse for her when the grieving mother came in, and Liz was the only staff person to comfort her. Gladly, Patrick was able to save her son, and Liz escorted his happy mother to his hospital room.
Sadly, she saw Jake again! She had a meltdown in Robin's office, so I don't know if they are going to put her off work again. Poor Liz!
