General Hospital Update for Friday, 22-Apr-2011

It was a case of good news/bad news today: the best possible news for Jason and Sam and the worst for Abby and Michael.
On the flip side, Anthony got a little too close for Johnny's comfort, Brenda and Jax actually had words and Christina and Ethan grow closer. Busy day in Port C!
Starting off with the good stuff: it turns out that Sam is a great candidate for fertility reconstruction, that new procedure that Dr. Lee was pitching to her. What does this mean? Simply that Jason and Sam can actually have a baby!! Yessssssss!!
The only bad part today was that Sam actually told CARLY before she told Jason!!! Does Carly ALWAYS butt in??
Worst news: Ronnie arrested Michael for Brandon's murder! Seems that Ronnie has cell phone video footage showing Michael and Brandon talking before the murder, but it proves nothing; as Diane so ably puts it. After all, how do we know that Brandon walked away from that conversation before he was killed, right?
My gut feeling is that Michael is going to be OK, as he's got Diane working for him in court. Nothing like the A team on your side....
Now for the really wierd, meaning Anthony, portrayed by the wonderful Bruce Weitz (and am I glad he's back, btw. Nobody does wierd like Bruce..)
We first see him when Sonny visits him in Pentonville. He shows Sonny his one rose bulb he's called Claudia (eww), and things end when Sonny knocks it on the floor! "Hope I didn't hurt Claudia", Sonny spits out as he leaves...
Anyway, Anthony next shows up in Johnny's apartment, taking care of his plants, right in front of his stunned son, who demands to know how his father busted out of the slammer!! More on this, I'm sure...
On to Brenda and Jacks. Jacks has come over to Chez Corinthos, supposedly to meet Lucien, but his real purpose is to tell Brenda to run for the hills before it's too late.
Brenda's not buying it and Sonny shows up, telling the Aussie to get out of his house now!!
Finally, Ethan and Kristina. He's telling her about the last time he saw Maya was when he dropped her off at the airport for her trip back home to see her family--and how he's sure that she's neglected to mention to them about her new hubbie!!
Kristina's eyes light up and she wastes no time telling Ethan how awesome he is, yada yada...don't like where this one is going!
