The Easter season: A season of forgiveness...not so sure that's the case in Port Charles. Why? Let me count the reasons:
Lucky and Luke, which leads to Liz and Lucky, which ultimately leads to Liz and Maxie and on another note, we have Sonny, Brenda, Suzanne and Lucien. And don't get me started on Jason and Michael!
We start off with Lucky and Luke. This father and son duo are getting a stream of visitors, telling them that they need to forgive each other and work through their pain over losing Jake.
Lucky tells Tracy and Nick that he's still beating himself up over not seeing that Luke is an alcoholic, which lead to him being drunk behind the wheel the night he fatally hit Jake.
Luke is still doing these ridiculous reflex tests to anyone who dares come to the Haunted Star to show that no, he's not impaired after having a few, so he can't be an alchoholic, right? As if that's going to bring Jake back...
He tells Tracy that it's OK that Lucky is angry, because he needs something or someone to be angry at and it might as well be him. Tracy comes back with telling him that yes, she has canvassed the family and they are all in agreement over one thing: Luke has a problem which will put him into an early grave if he doesn't get help soon.
And no, the thing that does need to happen, Lucky and Luke coming together, probably won't happen anytime soon, if this episode is any indication....
On to Liz and Lucky. They are still telling anyone who will listen that it's their fault that Jake is dead. Liz gets great advice from Maxie, of all people, who after telling Liz that she read the contents of the envelope with Aiden's paternity test results, tells Liz that she needs to go to Lucky and make things right, telling him that he is Aiden's true father, or she will. As the show ends, we see Liz standing on Lucky's doorstep, so I am sure thiswill be good...
On the Lucien front, Brenda is totally bonded with the little boy, taking him down to the Waterfront to sail his little sailboat, but Sonny is still not convinced. He is asking for proof of Lucien's identity, and goes to Suzanne's place to question her motive in bringing the little boy to Brenda.
Suzanne tries to convince him, but Sonny is a hard one to convince, as we know so well. This one is not over by any means, and I am convinced that we're going to see Theo again, even though everyone says he's dead!
Finally, Jason and Michael. Jason is convinced that Sonny's son wants in the business and is leaning towards going to work for Johnny. He does everything he can to talk him out of it, but Michael tells him that he wants independence and freedom--and it seems like going in the mob is the fastest way to get those things. I don't like where this one is going!
That's about it...Till next time!
