It's a sad time in Port Charles as the police learn that Luke hit and killed little 4 year-old Jake. Lu and Lucky are sooooo distraught. The question that rises is : Was Luke drinking when he drove his car that evening? Luke is crushed when Lucky and Jason confront him. Yet, Luke seems to be unconsciously trying to prove his innocence or something.As he continues to drink,he is in major denial . He keeps saying : " I may have had a couple of drinks,but I was not drunk." As if that solved the problem. My question is why weren't people close to him more aware of his problem.? Why didn't they love him enough to intervene? Is he an alcoholic? He is afraid that Lucky will send him to AA. He is even more concerned that Lucky may hate him. It's a tragedy that involves soooooooo many. Losing a child has got to bring angish as well as doubts, guilt, etc. Jason, Lucky, and Elizabeth blame themselves over and over again in different ways. I wonder how you move on after such a loss.
Perhaps, Luke will seek the help he truly needs.Thus a new story if he faces his addiction.
Michael and Abby make passionate love for a longgggggg time. Abby tells him that their age difference does concern her. Michael looks pale and asks : "Are you trying to break up with me?"From what I gathered is :she wants him to know that love at 19 may differ as he grows older. She says :"Let's keep it simple and meaningful now." All is going great until Brandon, the ex ,shows up. He is out of prison . He tells her that she had better drop the attempted rape charges or her "boy toy" will end up in prison again. It's a bad scene that one surmises will be dealt with tomorrow.
Tracy tries to listen with all her heart to a remorseful Luke. However, she lets him know that he may need some help with his drinking problem.Yesterday's scene between Luke and Lucky was heart wrenching.That was an Emmy winning scene on GH.
Siobhan tries to let Lucky talk it out as Dante lets LuLu talk. It is therapeutic..a catharsis.. Liz has disappeared for a while in her grief. Sonny and Brenda come home from their honeymoon to a room full of wedding gifts.Brenda tries to make amends ..a new start with Carly.Is Brenda thinking about her son's demise or is he dead?
Sean comes to serve as Carly and Josslyn's bodyguard much to Jax's chagrin.Franco may rock Port Charles again soooo Carly is a bit shaken.
