General Hospital Update for Friday, 25-Mar-2011

Port Charles is still reeling from Jake Weber's sudden death, and now we know who was driving the car that fatally hit him--and this news will have major shockwaves for the people who loved Jake. Abby and Michael grow closer and Liz and Lulu might patch up their relationship. Finally, Carly gets an unwanted message. Lots of things to discuss!
Starting off with the PCPD's investigation of Jake's death, we see that they have identified the driver beyond a shadow of a doubt: Luke!!
Forensics has determined that Jake's DNA was all over the bumper of Luke's car, which proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that he was the hit and run driver.
Luke is telling Lulu and Lucky at the start of the show that Carly is on the list of suspects, but there was no way she could have seen Jake, because she would've stopped.
Lucky goes off on a rant against Carly, saying that his cousin is selfish and only wants what she wants, not caring about the others she might hurt along the way.
Actually, Carly was at Jason's as Lucky was venting; and was telling him that she might have been the driver, which I do admit was a very brave thing for her to do. She got the call from the PCPD while she was over there saying that she had been cleared.
Dante shows the file to Lucky when he goes to the PCPD; letting him be the first person to see that Luke was the driver.
Lucky confronts his father at the Haunted Star with the information. Stunned, Luke pours himself a glass of Jack Daniels to steady his nerves as he reads the information. An equally stunned Lucky asks his dad "were you drinking when you hit Jake?" From Luke's stunned face, we can guess what the answer will be....
Michael heads over to Abby's place after being assured that Josselyn was OK at GH. He tells Abby that his little sister will be OK, when Abby gently tells him that she wants him to spend the night.
Michael tells her that he's nervous and he's not ready, but Abby assures him that it will be fine. They walk hand-in-hand to her bedroom. Very sweet!!
On to Lulu and Liz. She tells Dante that she feels badly that she blew up at Liz over her affair with Nicholas and on the night that Jake was hit and doesn't know if she can offer sympathy. She decides to try anyway, and shows up on Liz's doorstep.
Finally, Carly's creepy video message from FRANCO!!!!!! She's reading Joss at story at GH when her cell phone rings. Guess who?
It's a video message from Port C's favorite psychopath, who assures Carly that now he's going to be keeping an even closer watch on Joss, in light of her illness......YUCK!!!
