General Hospital Update for Friday, 17-Dec-2010

It looks like a mystery is going to be solved in Port Charles VERY soon, and the answer will stun a lot of people! Lulu is starting to realize that the connection between Dante and Brenda is deeper than she thought; once again, Lucky has no luck in the romance department and the green-eyed monster rears its ugly head at the Metrocourt restaurant! Vengance, thy name is Liz!!
The big news of the day is that finally, we see the true identity of the Balkan: and it's none other than Theo Hoffman!
Yes, THAT Theo Hoffman, the one who is suing GH for malpractice and the lawyer who is signing on with Diane and Alexis in the Brenda-Dante civil suit.
While half of Port Charles is freaking out about Jerry Jacks being the Balkan (Jacks is breaking out his gun!!), Theo reveals himself in a conversation with Jerry, who says "even though you're the Balkan..." and confirms to Siobhan that no, HE (Jerry Jacks) is definately not.
Speaking of Siobhan, she's definately been working with Jerry, but now there's a complication: it seems that she has now fallen in love with Lucky! But Lucky knows that his lady love is full of blarney--since it turns out she hasn't spoken with her sister in months (confirmed by Fiona, her sister in a call with Lucky). The problem is that Siobhan has been acting like they talk every day and play-acting Fiona's supposed calls to her in front of Lucky.
Even though it seems that Siobhan is having second thoughts about working with Jerry, Lucky doesn't know this, and tells himself that he needs a reality check once again when it comes to women.
On to Brenda and Dante. Carly storms over to Jason's apartment after Jacks pulls his gun to confront Brenda. She demands to know what the Balkan could have on Brenda that would make him want to stalk her, because now it's personal: Jerry Jacks has visited her home, held Josselyn and pulled a gun on Carly!
Stunned, Brenda confesses killing the Balkan's son Alexander and says that Dante disposed of the body. After she leaves, Carly tells Jason that she still is going to get proof of the affair that she's sure that Brenda and Dante had and will expose it for Sonny's benefit.
On to Lulu. She meets Maxie for a drink at the Metrocourt bar to celebrate Kate's being on the other side of the world in China. She tells her BFF and coworker that she thinks the connection between Brenda and Dante is much deeper than he let on, and she's wondering what else her boyfriend hasn't shared with her. She doesn't know that Dante has overheard the entire conversation!
Since we're at the Metrocourt, we might as well end with a dose of the Green-eyed monster, Liz style!
She's out having a nice dinner with her brother Steve, when she spies Nick having dinner with Brooklyn, his paid escort, as we remember.
As Nick gets up from the table, Liz decides to pay a visit to Brook. She makes a catty comment about Brook taking the chance to salvage what self-respect she had left by leaving town, yada yada. Brook shows that she learned how to fight in Bensonhurst, firing back with Liz's having three kids by three different men! (Good one!!) Anyway, things stop when the men return and Liz acts like things are just peachy for their benefit.
That was about it for today. The Balkan story is getting good, so stay tuned!
