General Hospital Update for Friday, 3-Dec-2010

And it's December! And you'd think everyone in Port C would have their decorations up by now,but nope!
BUT, Lisa is learning how blackmail can be a real drag, Sonny and Brenda grow closer, and Spinelli's not havin' it and Jerry Jacks is definately involved in the Balkan mess--and could possibly even BE the Balkan!
We start off with Sonny and Brenda, who are having a romantic lunch in Jason's penthouse, cooked by none other than Max and Milo.
They are loving the food (which we don't know was actually cooked by Sonny's guards or just sent in), when Sonny decides that he's getting sick of Spinelli's hovering.
As they are getting ready to leave, they are distracted by a call from Jason to Brenda. He tells them they can't leave, because once again, gun shots are flying around Port Charles.
The lovebirds actually give Spinelli the slip and wind up in Brenda's pink room at the penthouse for the duration.
Those gunshots? Jason and Sam actually caught the guy who started it. Turns out he was the one who broke into Sam's apartment. He manages to choke out that he was indeed hired by Jerry, but before he can say whether Jerry is the Balkan or not, more shots ring out, and he falls dead on top of Jason.
Dante comes onto the crime scene; telling Jason and Sam that the Balkan's son's body was recently pulled out of a New Jersey swamp. He suggests that they announce that the PCPD is holding is body to try and lure the Balkan to it. Sounds like they might go for it!
Johnny, on the other hand isn't doing so well. He staggers into his penthouse after the gun battle, and it's obvious that he's been shot. He tells Ethan to go to GH and get Dr. Niles.
Ethan complies, getting the looney doctor to come with him on the promise of a date (wth??) .
Once Lisa sees Johnny, she tells him that he'd be much better off at GH (DUH!!). Johnny has other ideas.
He spells it out for her: Lisa is going to cure him at his apartment, or he tells Steve Webber everything about the syringe in Robin's room! Nothing like a good case of blackmail, right?
While all of this is going on, there are a whole gaggle of people trying to track down Jerry in Port Charles. Jane Jacks is also back in town, and tells Jacks and Carly that the last time she heard from Jerry was on her birthday, when her errant son sent her a music box from Bulgaria, the Balkan's territory.
Could Jerry be the Balkan?? And could Alexander, the Balkan's dead son, be Jacks' nephew?? Stay tuned!!
