General Hospital Update for Friday, 27-Aug-2010

Summer is ending in Port Charles the way it started: with a bang!
Here's what happened today: Sonny and Brenda could get potentially closer, Jason and Sam are still in the fight of their lives and Lisa proves that she will stop at nothing, and I mean nothing to get her man!
Starting off with Sonny, he's still under arrest for the attempted murder of Johnny. He's at the PCPD telling everything he knows about the case to Dante, when Diane puts a huge nix on the proceedings.
She tells Sonny that not only is Dante a cop, he'll probably be the star witness at his trial and what was he thinking??? (Score one for Diane).
Sonny lamely tells her that Dante is his son and he believes that he only did it in self-defense, yada yada, when Diane brings out the big guns: Bernie, who tells his boss how he can jump bail and be out of the country--the only thing left to find out is where he wants to go!
"Rome", Sonny whispers.....knowing that this is where Brenda is currently living.
Brenda is currently vacationing at Lake Como with Murphy, and of course has no idea that any of this is happening, so it's going to get interesting fast, I'm sure.
On to Jason and Sam, who are still in the shootout with the Lopez brothers. They are fighting for their lives in an abandoned cabin in the woods and Sam is holding her own with a bum ankle, which is quite impressive. I'm sure we'll be seeing more on this later.
Finally, the crazy Dr. Niles, who is crossing all sorts of boundries lately. As we all know, Patrick confessed to Robin about sleeping with looney Lisa and Robin threw him out of the house as a result.
Lisa just-so-happened to show up at the same place Patrick was walking afterwards and didn't take no for an answer when he told her to back off.
This was after the loopy Doc found blood all over her locker at GH, which I for one think she planted!
Anyway, Patrick's cell phone rings and it's a tearful Robin, wanting to pick him up and try again. Lisa was listening and when Robin showed up, Lisa deliberately ran in front of her car and threw herself in front of it before a stunned Robin!! Is there nothing she won't do???? Stay tuned!
