General Hospital Update for Friday, 13-Aug-2010

Friday the 13th!! Scared yet?? Based on what happened today, some residents of Port Charles should start looking over their shoulders.
Let's see: Dr. Lisa has officially become certifiable, freaking Patrick out in a BIG way; a mob war is starting and thankfully, Michael was there for Johnny when he needed it most, Brenda and Sonny are ever-so-slowly finding their ways back to each other (and yep, Mike is starting to lose sleep over THAT prospect) and Jason might be leaving Pentonville for good! Don't have to tell you how many people would be shaking in their shoes!
We start off with Dr. Lisa, who is officially starring in "Fatal Attraction: Port Charles". Patrick comes home to what he thinks is an empty house when suprise!! He sees Lisa sitting on the couch like she's moved in!
After she tells him to help himself to a beer out of his own refrigerator, he asks the obvious question: What in the world is she doing there?
She tells him that she's always been in love with him since college and still is, even after coming to Port Charles and seeing that he has a wife and a baby.
Patrick tells her that she's delusional, that Robin and Emma are his family and Doc Lisa sputters that that is very hurtful, yada yada. The doorbell rings and it's Maxie, returning some of Robin's pictures that she's scanned.
Lisa leaves (after flipping back to sanity for Maxie--FREAKY) and Maxie tells Patrick in no uncertain terms why this is freaky. After she leaves, Patrick notices that Robin's face is cut out of their wedding picture!!
On to the brewing mob war. Michael was able to save Ethan and Johnny from getting killed during a drive-by shooting, which one of the Lopez brothers is believed to have master-minded.
Of course, Dante is called in to investigate-(Are he and Lucky the ONLY cops in the PCPD??) and he gets his little brother out of there as soon as possible, telling him that there is no way he can be anywhere near the scene.
This was all too late, as Ronnie tells Dante that an old lady living near the scene called the PCPD to report that a blonde kid was there--and he's going to question Michael. This is exactly what Dante did NOT want...
Now for Brenda and Sonny. No, they are NOT back together--yet.
Brenda is attending film premieres with her boyfriend of the moment, actor Murphy Sinclair. They are obviously PC's answer to Brad and Angelina, but it looks like Brenda's starting to have second thoughts.
She had considered canceling her date, but was talked into going by Suzanne, her assistant.
Murphy, on the other hand, is head over heals in love and even pops the question to the divine Ms. B. We'll have to wait and see what her answer is.
Sonny is sitting at a table in Kelly's while all this is going on, and has the card with Brenda's phone number on it. He's obviously very far away, and Mike calls him on it, correctly seeing that his son is day-dreaming about his lost love....
Last but not least, Jason. Claire has found a loophole in his paperwork, which could free him from Pentonville for good. We don't know what it is, but it definately sounds promising. Things get even better when Sonny comes to see him and tells him that he's coming home!!
Can't wait till Monday!
