General Hospital Update for Monday, 9-Aug-2010

The big players today: Lucky, Dante, Lulu, Carly, Brooke, Sonny & Claire. Of course they had the help of some minor characters too.
Lucky is at Karen's. She doesn't want to let him in, but Lucky smooth talks the lady and she hears him out. This is the first sign we see that the lady isn't as nuts as her son. Thankfully. Karen feels bad enough and believes Lucky enough that she hands him over Aiden. We don't get to see that exchange, but we do see Lucky on the plane with Aiden and can't help but hope that Lucky finds out really fast that he finally has a child of his own. He has a really moving heart to heart with his "nephew". Johnny sits cooling his jets at PCPD. Dante comes in (after dropping Jason off at prison) and tells Johnny he does beleive him and wants to hear his side. Johnny being the arrogant fool that he is just lectures Dante on how he has gone soft since he found out that Sonny is his dad. Dante leaves. In the squad room is Judge Carroll. He sees Johnny in the interview room and goes in. The judge sits down and is talking with Johnny. This viewer thinks that there is more to this relationship than meets the eye! Carly lays into Brooke, yet again, about seduces Dante. Brooke puts up a good fight, but Carly points out that SHE has the money and Brooke can be put on a bus back to Bensonhurst at any time. Ms. Ashton starts thinking. Sonny is on the docks thinking of Ms. Barrett and he thinks she's there. Turns out, its just Claire. Claire is dressed a bit different than usual (much shorter tighter skirt) and Sonny points out that he notices, much to the attorney's delight. Elizabeth gets called back to the hospital because someone is there and needs to see her. Turns out that the woman waiting for her is Shirley's daughter. After a much heated exchange, because this woman clearly is annoyed that she is being detained and inconvenienced by her mothers death, Elizabeth tells her just how wonderful Shirley was. The woman's icey heart melts when Elizabeth tells her how much Shirley talked about her children. Elizabeth goes back home and tells Nicholas that they need to talk to the boys about what happened with Aiden. Just as they tell the boys, Lucky walks in and reunites the little clan. He looks at them together and looks a little sad. Carly invites Michael and Lulu to dinner - of course so that Dante is left alone in the apartment. Michael calls his mother out on this invite and Carly just asks as innocent as can be. Meanwhile back at the apartment, Lulu leaves Dante to head out to dinner. Just as he's starting to relax, Brooke knocks. She's holding her robe and towel and is soaked to the core. Dante laughs because Brooke got caught in the rain. She claims that her hot water isn't working and asks to shower there. After her shower, Brooke pours herself a glass of wine. Let's see how Dante puts out that fuse. At the hotel Carly, Michael & Lulu are having a nice conversation. Carly leaves the table to kiss Jocelyn good night and Michael bolts too. Lulu asks him what's up and Micheal says he has to check something out. He knows his mother is up to no good, so he heads to Dante's.
Today we get to see 3 Brenda episodes! Happy watching.
