General Hospital Update for Friday, 6-Aug-2010

Happy Franco Friday!! We didn't see our favorite serial killer today, but his influence was felt coast to coast!
What else happened? Helena almost spilled the beans re Aidan's parentage (we think); Jason is on his way back to Pentonville (we also think); Johnny was on the wrong end of a frame-up, courtesy of Sonny and Sonny was having those misty water-colored memories about Brenda Barrett.
Starting off with Franco, we see that Lucky has arrived in Astoria, Oregon, where Franco has stashed his mother and Aidan. Lucky gets the address they are staying at from Spinelli, and goes over to Karen's new home, pretending to be a census taker.
Karen doesn't suspect anything at first, telling Lucky that the baby's name is Pablo and her other son Bobby had given him to her.
Lucky asks one question too many and Karen grows suspicious, throwing him out of her home. He comes back later with a different tactic, telling her that Aidan was actually kidnapped from GH and he's the father!! (He is, but he doesn't know that!!)
Back in Port Charles, Helena has gone to Liz's house where the new mother is sick with worry over the location of her youngest son.
Helena tells Nick and Liz that she has information she needs to tell them that will lessen their pain, but the couple isn't having it.
Nick tells his grandmother that if she can't tell them where Aidan is, she can leave. Helena snaps "I was going to give you a kindness but now I will leave well enough alone!!" and stomps off.
Meanwhile, Jason has been re-arrested by Ronnie and is at the PCPD, to prepare to be shipped off to Pentonville again!! Not if Dante and Diane have anything to do with it!!
Dante conveniently loses Jason's transfer paperwork and Diane shows up with a writ from a judge also delaying things.
Ronnie is not happy and gets back at everyone by not letting Sam wait with Jason in the Interrogation Room, which is just petty!
The Interrogation Room gets reaaaally busy, however, as Dante brings Johnny in for the murder of Santos Lopez!
This was a total frameup, courtesy of Sonny (who actually sent Max to do the deed), but Johnny's got to convince Claire.
As Claire takes his statement, she's telling Johnny what a good father Sonny is, yada yada. I'm with Johnny: how can Claire be impartial when all she wants to do is the deed with Sonny?
Finally, Sonny. And memories are "lighting the corners of his mind..." (to quote that old song). Robyn drops by the restaurant to tell him that she got an email from Brenda, yes THAT Brenda after all this time, and she's even left her phone number!
Robyn leaves Brenda's email and phone number with Sonny and Sonny soon takes a walk to the piers--where he's remembering Brenda through flashbacks.
All I know is Aug. 11 is the day the divine Ms. Barrett is back in Port Charles, and I can't wait!
