General Hospital Update for Friday, 23-Jul-2010

The world is falling apart for Port Charles residents on two coasts--as the hospital races to find Aidan, Liz and Nick's newborn who was taken from his crib. Jason and Franco have their fateful meeting in Los Angeles, and Warren's reign of terror has finally ended at GH, with potentially tragic results. And with that being said, welcome once again to Franco Friday!
We start off at GH, which as we remember is on lockdown, due to the kidnapping of Aidan Cassedine, Liz and Nick's newborn son. The Port Charles PD is there and vows to leave no stone unturned, going room to room if they have to to find the baby.
As usual, the PCPD is miles off the mark--as it turns out Franco has the baby--and Franco is at the opening of his new art show--in Los Angeles!
It's at LA's Museum of Modern Art and from the looks of things, all of the A-listers are there to celebrate with Franco--including Jason and Dante.
Franco's playing taped messages to the crowd which are meant to get a rise out of Jason, and it works, when we see images of Carter and Michael running side by side!
Jason's on the run to find his nemesis, but the killing has already started, as Franco has just offed his cameraman.
They finally meet, and we hear Franco finally say "Don't kill me, I know where the baby is!", before Jason pushed him off the stairs. He falls, and lands in a pool of blood, but we don't know if he's still alive or not.
Back at GH, Franco is also playing taped messages there, and Lucky and Nick are getting the full effect--enough to know that Franco definately has Aidan, and it wasn't Helena this time.
Believe it or not, there are bigger problems to deal with. Warren has finally flipped, and now he's got a gun, which can't be good.
He's using it, seriously wounding Ethan and Mac before Mac is able to fatally shoot Warren--all in front of a traumatized Christina.
Maya is also traumatized; as she is able to do nothing to help, despite Steve's pleas. Steve finally has to get Olivia to help with Ethan's CPR--and Maya is so freaked, she can't even get supplies or call the ER!
Two OR's, one for Ethan and one for Mac are set up and the doctors soon go to work. Mac has Robin and Maxie waiting for him, but I don't think anyone is waiting for Ethan, which is sad. We'll have to wait till Monday to see who makes it through surgery!
