General Hospital Update for Friday, 2-Jul-2010

Happy July! From what we saw today, it's clear that Sonny and Johnny's hatred is going to come to a head in a big way, and innocent bystanders could be caught in the crossfire. Not only is Franco back on the canvas, but now Dante, Jason and Spinelli are dealing with his mother--and Patrick and Lisa could be doing something that they could regret later! Ouch!! Did I forget to tell you that Shirley made it through surgery?
We start off with Port Charles' least favorite 6-letter word: F-R-A-N-C-O!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, he's baaackkk!!!
Not only has he sent crime scene photos to the ladies of Port Charles, he's now sent Maxie 66 roses to Crimson's offices. First Maxie thought that Matt sent them, but when he said no, everyone thought Spinelli.
When Spinelli didn't take responsibility, Maxie found out in a big way who did it: when she was alone at night in Crimson's offices!!! Scary!!
Meanwhile, Spinelli has fired up the trusty laptop and has found Karen Anderson, Franco's mother (and James Franco's REAL mother, btw), living in Woodstock, New York.
Everyone's on edge (Dante ran after a homeless guy lurking outside of Jason's apartment building), so a roadtrip is made to Woodstock.
Once Karen Anderson opens her door and tries to get them to go away, she throws Jason and Dante for a loop, when she tells them that she doesn't have a son (perhaps she's disowned him?)
On to Patrick and Lisa. They've spent the night drinking, celebrating Shirley's successful surgery, when Lisa decides she's too drunk to drive home.
Patrick, being the gentleman, volunteers to walk her to her door, but when he gets there, decides to plant a liplock on Dr. Lisa!! One thing leads to another and well, let's just say that it's good that Robin is in Africa....
Finally Sonny and the big news of the day. He's over at Alexis's house, waiting for Christina to come home from what everyone thought was a SAT-prep class, when the truth is blurted out by Molly: Christina never went to the class, but is hanging out with Johnny!
Sonny is horrified, because he knows that the bomb he ordered is in place under Johnny's car, and Christina could be hit!
He speeds over there, and is just in time to see Johnny press his remote car starter and the bomb go off in the garage! And we will have to wait to see if Johnny and Christina survive!
