General Hospital Update for Friday, 21-May-2010

Things are about to get pretty interesting in Port Charles! Let's see: Brook Lyn Ashton is back in town, and is up to no good with Carly, Jason has reported to Pentonville and not a moment too soon for Michael's sake, Matt is doing some serious flirting with Maxie and Lulu realizes that the past may come back to haunt her in a big way!
Starting off with Brook Lyn, we catch Spinelli and Carly doing an internet search on her. (What else would you do in 2010, right?) Things have been kind of dicey for Ned and Lois' daughter, as Spinelli found her living in a small apartment in Bensonhurst (as Carly says 'All roads lead to Bensonhurst'), and she is having other issues.
Her rock career isn't going as well as she'd hoped. Not only is Brook having financial issues, she's also been busted for credit card fraud!
What really intrigued Carly was the connection she discovered between Brook and Dante--and she decides to work it to bring Dante and Lulu down.
Carly catches Brook in a Bensonhurst park scamming a hot dog vendor out of a pretzel and money for the subway. Carly not only pays the man, but tells Brook that they are going to work together...hmmm...
On to Jason. He's in his orange jumpsuit at the PCPD and is ready to report to Pentonville, when one last obstacle shows up.
It's Mayor Floyd, who tells everyone that he's holding up the transfer until he can make sure it's done right and Jason's in there forever!
Dante steps in at the last minute; taking the mayor aside and tells him that if he blocks the transfer he has information that he will share with the press on the randy mayor's dealings with hookers--before his wife died!
Floyd sees the light and Jason is soon on his way--and not a moment too soo, as we soon see. It seems that the prisoner who helped Michael with the crooked guard likes him in more ways than one, and has come to cash in....This is NOT good...
Over at Crimson, we see Maxie and Matt, no less, flirting over wardrobe racks. He finally talks her into going to a museum exhibit in New York City and clubbing afterwards--and hopefully poor Spinelli doesn't find out!
Finally, Lulu, who is losing sleep over telling Dante about her abortion. She confides in Maxie, sharing with her Dante's statements about how great Olivia was to have him at age 15 and not have an abortion.
Dante walked in on the dinner Olivia and Sonny were having together at the Metrocourt and proceeded to ream both of them, so I really hope he doesn't go all judgemental on Lulu! We'll have to see.
