General Hospital Update for Friday, 23-Apr-2010

And it looks like things are finally coming to a head! Dante has found Michael (welcome Chad Duell!!) and has brought him back to Port Charles, just as the jury in Sonny's trial FINALLY starts deliberating! Skye FINALLY tells Luke why she's back in town and Carly FINALLY realizes that if she pushes Jax away after everything's over, then maybe she's not the only person who's hurt!
We start off with Michael, who's still in hiding at Maxie and Lulu's apartment--but maybe not for long, as Maxie walks in and sees him standing there with Dante and her roomie!
Dante knows that he has to stay one step ahead of Claire, which is why he moved his little bro out of his apartment to Lulu's, but does Maxie? And Dante asks Lulu, will Maxie go to Jason and Spinelli with the news?
Maxie does go see Spinelli, who is busy checking out surveillance cameras around Dante's apartment. She's bursting to tell Jason and Spinelli the news, but doesn't spill the beans--yet.
Meanwhile, Michael has already busted out of the girls' apartment (big mistake to leave him alone, Dante!) and is wandering on Baker Street!
This is after Sonny FINALLY (there's that word again!) confirmed to Dante that what he suspected was true: Michael was indeed the person who killed Claudia!
Dante is dumbfounded; telling his Dad that what he described was a textbook case of self-defense, and if they had come forward, the most Michael would have gotten was community service. Sonny tells him that that's not really the way the system works and the cops would have stopped at nothing to get Sonny Corinthos' kid!
On to action in the jury room. Jury Foreman Big Alice has this one under control, passing out copies of the rules of conduct to the jury! She's even got obnoxious Dr. Lisa under control, which was funny to see. Go, Big Alice!
Over at the Haunted Star, Skye has come to visit Luke. She's going to tell him the real reason she's come back to town--and yes, money is behind it. It seems that she's a little short on cash now, and knows that Alcazar has stashed away hidden holdings. The only problem is, that she has no idea where they are, and needs Luke to help her find them. They get cozy over Luke's laptop, just in time for Tracy to make a grand entrance!! Uh-oh...
On to the MetroCourt, where Olivia is working behind the bar--just in time to overhear a scorching fight between Jax and Carly! Liv ducks behind the bar before they see her, but still hears every word.
After it's over, Liv pops up and and starts to give Carly her take on the situation. They move to a table and the alcohol starts flowing--and Carly realizes that Morgan will also suffer greatly should Jax and Carly divorce. She tells Liv that as much as it pains her to say it, Jax has been a much better father to Morgan than Sonny has, because he has been there for him and Sonny hasn't. I hope she works to fix it before it's too late...
