General Hospital Update for Friday, 9-Apr-2010

Facing the music is going to be a popular activity in Port Charles, if today's episode was any indication. Alexis has figured out that she is the one who hit Keifer with her car, leading to his death at GH--and she is prepared to confess. Sonny is forced to listen to the courtroom testimony of his son--and it's MORGAN, not Michael, which is tearing at his heart.Carly finds out too late that Morgan was taken out of school and storms over to the PCPD, tearing into Dante. Ethan was beaten up in prison, while being held for Keifer's death--and Luke is FURIOUS, also tearing into Dante. And finally, it's Liz's first day at GH, but it's not going as smoothly as she would like!
We start off with Alexis, who is still at GH, helping Kristina get over her wounds and Keifer's death. She has determined that she was the one who ran into Kristina's abuser--and is wracked with guilt over it.
Alexis goes to her daughter's room to tell her, but stops when she sees Christina getting upset. Sam takes her outside and her mother gives her the news.
Sam is horrified; reminding her mother that she has a recent conviction for hit and run. (anyone remember last summer?) She tells her mother that if she's going to confess, she needs to do it sooner, rather than later, as it could be much worse for her if she waits. Alexis agrees and heads over to the PCPD to confess to Mac.
Meanwhile, she doesn't know that Jason (of course) and Spinelli have already figured out that it was her, so the jig is up anyway she looks at it!
On to Sonny's murder trial, which is rocked when Claire calls a suprise witness: Morgan!! Ronnie and a Court Social Worker took Morgan out of school so he could testify. Funny, I didn't think they could do that without a parent's permission?
Anyway, the Principal calls Carly and she's understandably livid. She storms over to the PCPD and tears into Dante, who had no knowledge of this plan, but he has a good idea that it was cooked up by Ronnie.
Carly's prepared to storm into the courtroom right when Morgan is testifying, but Dante beats her to it!
But before this happens, it's time for all Spencers in Port Charles to tear Dante a new one, as Ethan is released to Luke, sporting several new bruises on his face.
Luke shows Ethan's face to Dante, tossing a few good cop insults his way for good measure. Man, Dante can NOT get a break today...
Over at GH, it's Maya Ward's first day on the job as an intern--and it's Liz's first day back to work as well.
Epiphany is showing Maya the ropes, and things are going well, but can't say the same for Liz. She's screwing up lab orders, and it's so bad that Steve feels that patient care is being compromised, because he reassigned her!! Can't wait to see where she goes now--housekeeping??
