Just a typical Friday in Port Charles! Let's see: everyone's still dealing with the fallout of Sonny shooting Dante and Liz flips out at GH. Again! Almost forgot that Kristina has more to deal with with Keifer...
Let's talk about Liz, who we really haven't heard much from this week. She's on the job at GH when Epiphany introduces her to a little boy and his mother.
As the little boy's mom explains that she was too busy getting frisky with her boyfriend to pay much attention to him and he was burned boiling water for hot dogs as a result, Liz goes off on her.
Liz tells the mom that she doesn't deserve to have kids as she was too concerned with getting laid. She's only getting started when Epiphany and then Nicholas hear her and stop her.
Nicholas suspends her (he can do that, he's on the GH board) and Liz tosses off a great line: "Why were there two of us in this affair and I'm the only one who's paying?" Good question!!
On to the Dante shooting fallout. Things start out when Dante is giving his statement to Lucky and Olivia is giving hers to Mac and Ronnie at the PCPD.
Olivia rightly tells Mac and Ronnie that she didn't see the actual shooting--she only heard the gunshot when she was outside, came into Sonny's living room and saw Dante lying on the floor.
Dante, on the otherhand, makes up a complete fabrication. He tells Lucky that he came into Sonny's livingroom, got a gun out of Sonny's desk, and shot himself by accident!
Lucky sees right through this statement and tells Dante that he understands why he would want to protect his dad, but warns him that other people at the PCPD are not going to believe him.
Dante has more visitors to deal with. Morgan comes in and asks him if his friendship was real or was part of the coverup.
Dante assures his little brother that although he told plenty of lies on this assignment, his affection for Morgan is genuine. The brothers hug, and the bond is sealed.
Meanwhile, Sonny has a chance to skip bail and leave the country, but he's not taking it--due to Dante's situation. He heads back to GH, where he runs into Luke, who's there to support him.
The Jacks family is also dealing with this situation in a huge way. As promised, Jacks has come clean with Carly, telling her about his involvement with Dante.
Carly's furious with him and packs up the kids to leave him. She takes Josselyn and Morgan and winds up at Jason's, telling him "We're moving in!!"
Michael comes home after Carly has left and Jacks tells him what's happened, not pulling any punches.
Enraged, Michael takes a swing at his stepfather!
On to Christina, who's also having a hard time with the latest Port Charles bombshell. She calls up Keifer for comfort, who upon hearing they're alone in the house, tries to get her into bed. One thing leads to another and Kristina orders him out of the house. (about time!!) Keifer takes a swing at her and connects! Not good....
The climatic scene today? Sonny and Dante meet as father and son--and Dante says "Hi Dad. You're quite a shot!" Stay tuned...
