General Hospital Update for Monday, 1-Feb-2010

There's a lot of excitement and explosive energy on General Hospital today. The suspense comes to a head as Sonny shoots Dante. Olivia runs in and collapses next to his blood soaked shirt. She screams "You've shot your own son." Naturally, Sonny is in shock. He asks ; "Why didn't you tell me that Dominic was my son?" You know that I would never harm one of my children." Olivia ,between tears,tries to explain why she didn't tell him.
In the meantime, a more solemn occasion is taking place in a Church where baby Josslyn is being Christened. She is such a beautiful baby.LuLu and Jason stand proudly by their sides as Josslyn's God Parents.The service is serene yet LuLu and others can only imagine what has happened to two "no shows" , Dom and Sonny.The anxious Lu finally decides to go to Sonny's. She finds blood on his floor..,and she simply knows...
Bright, precious Molly romanticizes again as she asks Jason and Sam about their marriage. She says : " This is a beautiful church for a beautiful wedding." Sam shies away from this topic by saying : " Jason and I are not going to marry."Well, We will see. ;-)Molly is a matchmaker,is she not?
The Spencer family goes to the party along with other friends and family. The fun has just begun when Patrick and Robin receive a frantic call from Sonny. Robin is somewhat upset with Patrick who knew that Dante was Sonny's son.He had not told Robin.Patrick had promised Olivia that he would not tell.
Miss Jane is at the ceremony,and is a proud grandmother,but she's worried about Jax . Jax has played a covert role in the bringing down of Sonny. When this news leaks,there will be another fretful story on GH.Oh me!
While Carly is opening gifts for Josslyn, she discovers a cd. She tells Morgan that they will watch it later. Morgan is curious sooooooo he plays it. Guess who is speaking? None other than the sicko Franco. I guess he has sent his final message to Jason.
Sonny is pacing at the hospital. He knows that he must fix this. Policemen will arrive to question him and Olivia. Now, of course, Olivia has a lot of explaining to do to Dante.She is too emotionally spent at the moment. When Dom? Dante wakes up briefly,he asks for LuLu.THe bullet is lodged close to his spine so the docs must wait til he stabilizes to operate.
Sonny turns to God once again for solace. He asks for forgiveness, etc.It's a desperate moment for many who love Dante.. Please watch GH on Tuesday to find out more.
