General Hospital Update for Friday, 29-Jan-2010

It came to a head and boiled over in a big way in Port Charles today, as secrets were finally revealed-with a potentially tragic ending.
As Spinelli had confirmed to Sonny earlier that Dominic was indeed an undercover cop, Sonny decided that the only way to deal with this was to have Dominic pay with his life: and make it look like an accident.
And of course, this intense drama was happening around Josselyn's christening, where some of the guests had drama of their own to deal with!
Things started off with everyone heading to the Christening. Jane Jacks is back in town, and is beaming over her new granddaughter; Lucky is the first person at the church, and he's taking a minute to speak to God before the ceremonies start, and Olivia takes a minute to go to Sonny's house to ask him to please not make the ceremony about him.
Dominic, on the other hand, is telling Ronnie to wait to arrest Sonny until after the Christening; begging his partner to give the families one more good day.
Sonny isn't showing him the same courtesy. As Dominic is heading to the church with Lulu, he gets a phone call from Sonny, telling him he has a last-minute assignment for him and needs him at his house immediately.
Once Dominic arrives, Sonny tells him that he wants him to take a last-minute security detail down a remote mountain road.
Dominic sees through it immediately, and asks Sonny how quickly he's going to have a fatal accident.
Sonny confronts him; telling him that he knows he's an undercover cop; leaving Dominic no choice but to pull out his badge and arrest him for Claudia's murder.
As Dante (I'm calling him that now because the secret's out), continues to read Sonny his Miranda rights, the Christening is going on as a reminder of happy occasions.
Sonny pulls out his gun; pointing it at Dante and asking if he had any last words. Dante told him about the Police Lieutenant in Brooklyn he had gunned down and said he was doing it for him.
Sonny pulled the trigger, just as Josselyn was baptized in a sad contrast. As we see Dante laying on the floor, in a pool of blood, Olivia comes into the room and screams when she sees her wounded son on the floor.
She looks up at Sonny, who is still holding the smoking gun and screams "Do you know what you just did? YOU SHOT YOUR SON!!!" WOW!!!!!!!!
Monday can't come soon enough!!!
