General Hospital Update for Friday, 22-Jan-2010

It's about ready to hit the fan in a big way in Port Charles, as Dominic's secret was revealed to the wrong person! Lucky's fallen off the wagon and Maxie better keep her lip zipped, if she knows what's good for her.
Let's start off with Lucky, who's having a bonding moment with Luke. Too bad it's over a whiskey bottle!
Father and son are drinking together at the Haunted Star and Lucky's telling Luke everything--and not leaving out the part where he walked in on Liz and Nicholas at Windemere having sex.
Luke is providing a shoulder for his son to cry on and tells him gently that he knew about Liz and Nick for some time, and just couldn't deal with seeing Liz and Lucky live a lie anymore, which is why he took off over Christmas.
Meanwhile, back at Liz's house, Liz and Nick are listening to a worried Lulu tell them that yes, indeed, Lucky's drinking again, and what are they going to do about it?
Liz tries to go all holier-than-thou with Lulu, telling her that she didn't put the drink in his hand and it's Lucky's mess, so he better fix it! Lulu (bless her heart) comes back by saying that if Liz and Nick weren't screwing like rabbits, then Lucky would still be sober.
Lucky shows up after Lulu leaves and is getting ready to tear into Liz and Nick, which has been coming for a while, I have to say.
On to Maxie. Jason and Sonny still want to pin Claudia's murder on Franco, but are concerned by a new finding: a strand of hair belonging to Sonny that was found in the cabin.
Jason is also concerned that since Lucky has taken himself off the case, a new detective isn't going to go as easily on Maxie, who as we know saw Sonny get out of his car on the night Claudia was killed--wearing a bloody shirt with a handprint.
Maxie promises Jason and Spinelli that she'll lie and say she never saw Michael in the car that night, and says that being a good liar is like riding a bicycle; something you never forget!
Finally, the big event of the day. As we know, Sonny asked Dominic to possibly think about taking over the organization when he retired--making Michael go ballistic!
Michael threw a huge baby fit in front of his father and even ran over to Jason's house to throw one. All I can say is, I can see why Sonny doesn't give the organization him!
Anyway, Dominic met Ronnie later on the docks and was talking about bringing Sonny down and throwing him in jail and Michael was hiding and overheard everything! The whole secret's out--and how fast do you think Michael is going to spill his guts to Sonny? Stay tuned!
