General Hospital Update for Friday, 15-Jan-2010

You have to give the PCPD SOME points occasionally! It looks like they are getting closer to figuring out who killed Claudia--but it's going to be a shock when the killer's true identity comes out!
Let's see, the only other things that happened today were that Nicholas decided to leave Port Charles for good; having one last nooky session with Liz for the road, Patrick and Lisa got closer, and Michael left his family ski weekend early--because of his disturbing flashbacks to Claudia's murder.
Starting off with the murder investigation, we see that the autopsy results on Claudia are in--showing that she died from blunt force trauma to the head.
Mac is pleased with the results, and strategizes with Lucky how to pin the murder on Sonny, sending him to prison once and for all. But, as usual, the PCPD is heading down the wrong alley.
Sonny on the other hand, is working with Jason and Dominic to pin the murder on Franco!! This would be convenient for everyone, right? I mean, the man is only long gone from PC and who knows where he is?
While all this is going on, Michael, the real killer, is having flashbacks to the murder scene while he's in Vermont with his family. He's so freaked out by this that he has Max take him back to Port Charles, and promises Carly that he will go straight to Sonny's house.
Nothing doing--as he winds up at the PCPD asking to see Claudia's body! Sonny is there in the nick of time and tells his son that it won't do any good.
The PCPD has stumbled on one bit of evidence: a hair strand that was found in the cabin. Mac orders immediate DNA testing on it, and of course Spinelli picks up on this when he hacks into the computer system, so now everyone knows.
On to Nicholas, who has decided to pull up stakes and settle with Spencer in Paris. Lulu tells him that Laura will be thrilled and convinces Lucky to at least go to Windemere and tell his brother good-bye.
Lucky does this--but finds out really quickly that Liz beat him to it! After heading up to the Turret room, he sees Liz, his fiance, in bed with Nick, his brother! Looks like Liz was a willing participant and is going to have some 'splanin' to do....
Finally we visit Patrick and Lisa. Patrick is helping Lisa set up her new apartment and is moving furniture for her, when he decides to extend his welcome and watch Nascar races with her! The flirting is getting deeper and I think it would be a good idea if Robin cut her London vacation short and headed home!
