To say today's episode was a cliffhanger is an understatement!
Lulu and Sam are literally at death's door, and perhaps Jason won't get there to save the day this time; Franco's insanity is peaking; Sonny and Michael have an intense bonding moment, and Christina could driven from her father permanently--all because of Franco.
We start off with Domininc and Lucky, who are working with Jason to bring down Franco and rescue Lulu and Sam, who he is holding hostage.
What this unlikely trio doesn't realize is that both women are still in Port Charles--but both are literally chained to bombs, and time is ticking away.
Dominic and Lucky are at the PCPD trying to figure out clues, while Jason is one step ahead (as always--is it something in the water in Port C, or does it make EVERY cop bumbling?)
Jason meets up with Franco in his studio. He follows the insane artist's directions to the letter: no arms and no cell phone.
Franco's taunts prove one thing: that Jason, aka Stonecold, does have emotions and Jason erupts. He almost strangles Franco before Franco gives him the true location of both women--adding that both bombs are due to go off in 8 minutes!
Turning away from this drama, we stop in at Chez Corinthos, where Michael is finally confessing to Sonny that he does feel remorse over Claudia's death and it's eating him alive. He wants to confess to Lucky, but Sonny isn't having it; telling him that there's no way he would get a fair trial in Port Charles, based on his last name.
Sonny tells his son that Claudia has taken too many things from him; adding that she's not going to take his future.
After Michael leaves, it's Alexis' turn, and Sonny fills her in on the situation with Sam. Christina enters, and bitterly accuses Sonny of being responsible!
Now, back to the other drama. The last scenes of today's episode were chilling. We see Franco, talking about how he killed for the first time--(the murder in Tribeca that Dominic arrested him for), with his haunting theme music playing in the background.
The episode ends with Dominic and Jason speeding to the bomb sites, and Jason finding Sam--but do we know if he's in time or not? Tune in on Monday!
