I always hate to see good talent go to waste. When they brought in a tough and savvy Rebecca, I had hopes for an interesting character gracing the canvas. But unfortunately, they turned her into a watered down version of Emily and my boredom over this character just grew. Since the very talented Natalia Livingston is leaving GH, I guess I wasn’t the only one feeling this way. We’ve also recently been introduced to Lisa, and already she too has been recast. I have to admit, that I’m sure down the road she will end up having a teen age son with an ego to match his father’s, but for the time being, I find the screen time between Lisa, Robin and Patrick works like sominex but is less habit forming.

Ok, so onto today’s show.

Jason is one who is never at a loss for an interesting story line. Today Jason is summoned to Jake’s by Coleman to deal with the petulant Michael. Michael struts into the bar, demanding alcohol, and picks a fight with Lucky. All his posturing was difficult to watch as he lets slip that Claudia is dead. Jason arrives and strong-arms Michael out of the bar, taking him home to Carly. Michael still just doesn’t get it and tries his newfound bravado on Jason. BIG mistake kid! Jason lays into Michael like nothing I’ve ever seen before. He had me cheering at my TV! Jason goes so far as to call out Michael’s immaturity, stupidity and yes, calls him a “bitch”. I was great! After Jason leaves, Carly tries to talk to Michael. Micheal goes all condescending on Carly, pitying her for not truly understanding Sonny’s world? What? That head injury must have done more than just put him in a coma for a year! That kid is crazy!

Lulu and Dante meet at Jake’s for a drink. Lulu puts into words all the mixed feelings that Dante has. They also discuss what the future holds for them once the investigation ends.
Jax calls Dante to his office to play the tape of the Sonny admitting to Claudia’s murder. Jax also realizes that if he puts Sonny in jail, he will loose his wife and children. Jax chooses to erase the recording. Putting the ownus of taking Sonny down back in the hands of the police. Kind of a wasted trip for poor Dante.

Jason goes to Sonny to discuss Michael as well as fill him in on the Franco happenings. Sonny gives Jason cart blanche to deal with Franco if he becomes a threat to Michael.

Nicholas hears a thump under his car while driving to Lucky’s. He pulls over to see Rebecca, lying on the side of the road writhing in pain. Nic calls the ambulance and Rebecca is rushed to GH. Now remembering that Rebecca came to us as a con artist, I’m going to reserve judgment as to what Nic actually hit. I have a feeling that there will be more to this accident than a mere hit and run.
Mac details Lucky to GH to investigate. So now Lucky is a homicide detective and a traffic analyst. I guess human resources are a little slow in replacing Coop. Not to mention, that there may be just a slight conflict of interest here.

Edward and Elizabeth have tea at her house. Yes, the scene was just as discombobulated, as that sentence seems. I love Edward and all the references to Lila, so even though it was weird, I enjoyed it. While entertaining Edward, Liz gets the call from Nic relating the accident. Elizabeth high tails it to GH and confabs with Nic on how to stop Rebecca from telling Lucky the ugly truth. While in the ER Liz spies big brother Steven who tells her that he’s the new Chief of Staff. I’m glad to have Scott Reeves on board even if the whole “hand picked my Monica” story is a little hard to swallow.

Ok, so that’s it for this week. See you next Wednesday!
