General Hospital Update for Wednesday, 18-Nov-2009

He’s Just not that into you!
I found myself repeating those words over and over today. As couple after couple grapple with infidelities both past and present, it seems like the light of reality is about to shine brightly in Port Charles.
*Patrick’s ex-girlfriend Lisa, shows up at GH to consult with Robin. For someone claiming to be living in the present, man she sure brought up her “glory days” with Patrick an awful lot. I mean is it really appropriate to take a walk down memory lane that ended in a tarry sexcapade? And all this after the bucket of “naked beer” delivery?. Yo Lisa, he’s a married man, and he’s not into you!
* Elizabeth’s fruitful imagination takes us on another dream sequence where she and Nicholas are found out. This time by Robin. Now at first I have to admit that I thought Robin had teleported herself from the GH nurse’s station to stumble upon Liz and Nic making time in the alleyway. But once Robin started talking about Liz loosing her kids to Lucky, I knew we were being duped once again. Moving on. A totally oblivious Lucky professes his complete and total forgiveness of Liz’s past indiscretions. Liz stands there looking like a kid who just got stuck with her hand in Nic’s cookie jar. Wasn’t it Lucky who was just tooting his own horn about how easily he could tell that Sam and Jason were lying? How about applying some of those finely tuned detective skills on Liz? Anywhoo, Liz and Lucky take a walk in the woods then sit down on a blanket for a picnic. I just kept hoping that it wasn’t the same set they used when Jason buried Claudia…ewww
* Meanwhile back at Windemere, Rebecca prepares a beautiful french inspired meal for Nicholas. Nic arrives and Rebecca throws herself at him once again. Nic, unable to sport that stone smile any longer, finally comes clean about the whole mess; I’m just not that into you! Now I’m not sure about you, but since Nic’s sheets aren’t even cold from their last amorous adventure, I don’t think I would be taking the news nearly as well as Rebecca did. I mean Nic actually used the words “ease and convenience” to defend his continuing the relationship. If it were me, he’d be wearing some of that expensive burgundy wine and smelly french cheese.
* In a another case of history re-written : some time in the recent past, Claudia gave Johnny a camera and she played on the park swings while Johnny took photos of her?!? Ok, so I’ll take this at face value because I know where this is going. Said camera is the same make and model as the one used to produce the mystery photos and now everyone is going to think that Johnny is the mystery man.
* Dante visits Olivia and gives her a copy of the photo of Claudia’s body. There are more copies of this photo floating around than when Brittany forgot to wear underpants! I can’t imagine the higher ups at NYPD will be to excited about Dante handing over murder evidence to his mom. Of course, later that day, Johnny comes by and happens upon the photo that Olivia had hidden in a drawer.
