General Hospital Update for Monday, 9-Nov-2009

Never a dull moment as sweeps week approaches. This is always such a great time of year for soaps. As we all sit and speculate on the role that James Franco will take on later this month, here are some of the goings on for Monday.
*Carly and Jax continue to argue. Carly blames Jax for putting Josslyn’s safety ahead of Micheal’s, and kicks him out of the house. Jax turns to Alexis for support, but Alexis begrudgingly agrees with Carly on this one. Lady Jane shows up to see her granddaughter and questions Carly on Jax’s whereabouts. I just have to say that hands down, Laura Wright has the best hair in the business. I can’t even describe to you what my hair looked like in the days after I gave birth!
*Michael continues to show zero remorse for killing Claudia. Jason attempts to counsel Michael but is taken aback by Michael’s pride in what he did. Steve Burton does a bang up job of grappling with Jason’s guilt over raising Michael in a life of violence. Jason second-guesses his decision to have taken Michael from the Quartermaines all those years ago. Jason begins to realize that the adorable baby he raised (insert great flashback here) is not who he thought he was. Jason worries that when looking at Michael, he is really looking in a mirror. It would appear that in Port Charles, a head injury is a one way ticket to a career as a hitman.
*Liz and Nicholas get hot and heavy in a storage closet until they are interrupted by Lucky’s voice in the hallway. Lucky and the Mayor go toe to toe over the Corinthos investigation. Liz and Nick sneak out of the closet and agree that “this cannot go on”. In what I believe will turn out to be a dream sequence; a guilt ridden Liz comes clean to Lucky and tells him of her affair with Nick. Lucky pulls out his gun and shoots Nick right there in the GH hallway.
*Olivia, who perhaps could be better spending her time trying to do damage control over yet another Metro court disaster, decides to visit Sonny instead. Olivia questions Sonny on Claudia’s disappearance (perhaps Sonny also knows what happened to Olivia’s mole?). Sonny plays coy, and without missing a beat, uses this time to flash his dimples and make time with Olivia.
*Lulu and Dante flirt at Kelly’s. Lulu grapples with the secret and where her loyalties lie.
*While the Kelly’s set is out of storage, Michael, Kay and Keifer also meet up at the diner. Michael and creepy Keifer have words. Michael then runs right over to daddy’s house eager to flex his new mob muscle. In his first order as Sonny’s newest “goomba” Michael enlists Max and Milo to teach Keifer a lesson.
*We visit “Mystery CO77X” lair. He/She somehow has a photo of a deceased Claudia covered in a tarp at the cabin? Anywhoo, great music and creepy montage follows.
