General Hospital was full of intensity today. Port Charles is psyched up for Claudia's big birthday Bash at Jax's hotel. Sonny presents Claudia with a lovely diamond necklace ,and He escorts her to the party .The guests are many,but they could care less about wishing Claudia well. Are they hypocrites? Perhaps their loathing for Claudia does not keep them from drinking and partying.Claudia looks lovely, but her smile becomes pensive as Sonny praises certain people for their friendship, etc.Among these that he lauds are Robin, Luke, and Mike, and Jason. Then, he says: " And now, for the birthday girl.. what can I say that best describes my wife? " All are waiting for the smiling Sonny to make his pitch. In the meantime, Molly and a brave Morgan have helped John to break out of the warehouse on the dock where the Joey guy has him. He must get to his sis Claudia to prevent her death. Time is running out ,but Morgan uses a tool to set Johnny free from his chains, and Molly uses her cute charm to scare away Joey's goons. what brave little ones! I love the kids on this show.
Dominic/ Dante is playing host at the party. Maxi asks him: "What are your intentions with LuLu?" LuLu ,of course, is embarrassed. After all, she can't quite figure out Dante's motives. etc.
I need to go back to Sonny's conference with Jason prior to the soiree. Jason plays the recording for Sonny. He hears Ian, Jerry, and Claudia's voices plotting to kill Sonny. Sonny looks absolutely sad and shocked at this clear revelation. Jason asks: " What are you going to do about Claudia?" Sonny looks cool and tells him that he is off to her party.He fingers his gun on the way soooooooo.
Earlier, Olivia gets into a hot cat fight with Claudia. Claudia tells the cops to arrest Olivia. It's a really bad scene, but this Mother TIGER says: " You will not hurt my boy." MAc lets Olivia go soooooooo. The party is heating up as a beaming Claudia hangs onto Sonny,and of course, Sonny keeps smiling in a roguish way. The tension in this ball room is quite stringent.A miffed Jason stands aloof in the crowd of party goers. This is a sinister plot and I am afraid that Claudia will meet her doom soon. You fans must tune in tomorrow to check on Claudia's fate. Will Sonny be able to kill her or will Jason step forward to do it?
