General Hospital Update for Friday, 23-Oct-2009

Finally, Claudia is going to face the music for Michael's shooting--but she doesn't realize it yet!
It's a week before Halloween, and the smoking gun has at last been found, courtesy of Sam and Jason, and let's not forget Michael's improving memory.
Let's see: the other things that happened today include Dante giving advice to Christina, before a drunk Kate tears into him later at Jake's; Claudia and Sonny grow closer in Puerto Rico (kind of the calm before the storm)and Patrick and Robin bond over a t-shirt of all things!
We start with Jason and Sam and their finally getting the proof that Claudia ordered Michael's shooting.
They are still at GH going through patient charts with Patrick and Robin, who are reminding them of patient confidentiality. So far, with Spinelli's help, they have located a CD with just Devlin's voice on it agreeing to the hit on Sonny.
Jason tells Spinelli he's convinced that Claudia is also on the disc and orders Spinelli to prove it, when Spinelli goes against him and says he's not going to frame her!
After Sam gently asks Jason if he thinks that Spinelli is right, a bag with more of Devlin's personal effects is located in the GH staff lost and found with surprise!! more CD's in it.
They hit paydirt with the first disc, which clearly has the voice of Claudia on it ordering the hit!
Michael also finds a smoking gun, when he remembers Jerry telling him at his bedside while he was in the coma that "Claudia did this to you".
Meanwhile, Sonny and Claudia are still in Puerto Rico dealing with the aftermath with Sonny's meeting with his South American partners. Sonny is proud of Claudia for standing up to the Puerto Rican mafia and is making plans to have a birthday party for her when they return to Port Charles--but now they're going out on the town, and Sonny says he's never felt as close to his wife as he does now! (It's going to be uggglllly when he finds out...)
On to Kate, who goes over to Olivia's apartment to tell her yet again, that she needs to let the cat out of the bag with Sonny and Dante re Dante's parentage. Naturally, Olivia's not hearing it and Kate storms out of her place.
Kate winds up at Jake's and proceeds to slam down boilermakers served by Coleman at the bar. She's slammed in no time flat, and sees Dante.
She goes over to Dante's table, sits herself down and tells him that "he's going to listen to Cousin Kate". (ewww)
Dante has just come from Kelly's, where he ran into Christina, who was looking for Keifer. Christina is starting to think that Keifer has moved on, and asks Dante if guys toss girls over who sleep with them!
He gives her some stand-up advice and offers to take her home...
Almost forgot to mention Patrick and Robin, and Patrick's t-shirt that was found in the GH Staff Lost and Found.
Robin admits she arranged for the shirt to be "lost", since it represented Patrick's former life, even though Patrick loved the shirt. Patrick tells her that if it means that much to her, he'll toss the shirt himself, and they bond. Awww....
That was about all for today!
