General Hospital Update for Friday, 9-Oct-2009

Wow, what a Friday! Nothing like a visit from a former American Idol contestant to liven things up!
Almost forgot to mention that Dante/Dominic's cover is considered to be officially blown and he is now off Sonny's case; Alexis and Christina had a fight and have grown further apart; Robin's visit to Planet Sexy could be disasterous and Jason and Sam might be closer than they realize to getting the goods on Claudia.
Let's start off at Jake's, where it's Karaoke Night again--but this time there are surprises in store for the crowd.
The crowd was wondering why the stand-in bartender was so eager to take the mike--but turned into believers once he started singing "Against All Odds".
Turns out the bartender was none other than former American Idol Top-Ten Contestant (and I can't spell his name, sorry!!) Chikizie Izie!! Nice to see that he's still in good voice, and even better that there was no Simon in the crowd to make snarky comments!
The night was finished off in fine style by Johnny, who showed off his superior piano playing and singing voice with "Try a Little Tenderness", all while shooting smoldering looks at Olivia.
On to the Metro Court, where Dante is busy fighting off Claudia in her suite. The mob princess doesn't realize that he's wearing a wire, and tells him that she knows everything about his true identity and now he's going to do what she wants or she spills everything to Sonny.
She's stripped down to her bra and is ready to move in, when there's a knock on the door. It's the police, and they make a show of arresting Dante for Claudia's benefit.
Once they get him back to their temporary headquarters, Dante's partner Ronnie tells him that since Claudia knows his true identity, his cover is blown and the Chief is taking him off the case.
Dante refuses to quit and says if he has to, he'll stay on the case as a private citizen to bring Sonny down!
Now over to the Lake House, where Alexis is having a talk with Christina. She tells her that she's glad she's spending time with her sister Sam, but Sam wasn't raised the way she was and yada, yada, yada.
Christina figures out that now Sam is on the forbidden list and calls her mother on it. Seems like the easiest solution for Alexis when she has difficulty with a person is to just cut that person out of her girls' lives and tell them that it's for their own good, but Christina is now not having any of it.
Move on over to Planet Sexy and Robin's trip there! She's listening to Maxie's suggestions to spice up her marriage and agrees to Maxie's plan to cover the house in balloons and dress up in a sleazy outfit straight from a Barbarella movie, complete with blonde wig and laser gun!
The only problem is, that Patrick does come home from Jake's--but has Lisa, the new DA with him!!! Major OOOPSSSS!!
Finally, Jason and Sam. They have actually broken into the PCPD evidence warehouse, with Spinelli's help, and have located the evidence from the Ian Devlin shooting, when they are told to put their hands up. Guess what, it's Lucky with his gun drawn!!
I think someone's got some explaining to do!! See you Monday!!
