And it's a wedding day in Port Charles!! And naturally, there's going to be lots and lots of drama, as always. And with the bride and groom being Maxie and Spinelli, we weren't disappointed!
We start off with a dream--Maxie's dream, and it's almost a nightmare! Maxie is dreaming of married life with Spinelli.
Spinelli is off on another assignment with Jason, Lulu is a Kate Howard wannabe, and Mac has lost his mind!!
Maxie? The fashionista of Port Charles is now stuck with two screaming kids and is running around in a frumpy housedress!! Say it ain't so!!
I have to say that Mac stole the show here. The story line was that he was sprung out of Shadybrook for the day and he really looked the part.
It only gets better, or does it? As Maxie starts to get ready for her wedding, with the help of bridesmaids Lulu and Robyn, we see other families doing the same thing. Christina is having a screaming fight with Molly, over Molly borrowing a necklace that Keefer gave to her without asking (Sam had to referee), Jason is pumping up Spinelli for the big day; the big crisis being that the computer geek deleted his vows!!, and Patrick is having to deal with, ahem, shall we say a slightly reluctant Mac.
Finally, everyone makes it to the wedding. Carly, Jacks and Morgan arrive and sit in front of a recovering Dominic. When asked where Michael was, they said he was coming over in his own car! (Now that should be interesting, right??)
Olivia and Johnny come in and sit in front of Dominic--and start to lock lips right in front of him!
Dominic can't take it, and goes outside, where he runs into Lulu, asking him what he's doing there. He mumbles something and they both go in.
Spinelli has arrived, running right into Mac. If looks could kill, the Jackal would be a dead man, poor guy.
Finally, the big moment. Maxie has arrived in the limo. We don't see her dress yet, as she's actually wearing a wrap over it, which I thought was a clever idea.
She makes a grand entrance on Mac's arm and looks breathtaking.
She's with Spinelli and the ceremony begins. He speaks from the heart, telling her how much he loves her--and for that reason, he can't marry her!
I know that Monday's going to be interestin!
