Clowns, rides, cotton candy.and a spooky fortune teller abound at the carnival.This exciting carnival is, of course, a charitable event to raise money for THe Michael Corinthos Foundation.With Alice, Ethan, and Coleman manning some booths, the entire hospital staff seems to be having a ball. Even Spinelli is dressed in Clown attire. As Maxie states: "It can help him face his phobia of clowns." :-)
Even though this carnival is awesome, danger lurks ahead.In fact, the resident seer tells LuLu that "something wicked comes their way." This creepy woman tells a doubting Michael to use his gift.. whatever this is, etc.She adds "you are among the blessed and cursed." Naturally ,every carnival has a teller of half truths and woe. :-)When Rachel walks away from Ethan's booth, Nik tells Ethan that he will be dumping Rachel very soon.Ethan is angry because he can see that Nikolas is planning to retaliate against her in an ugly, devastating way. This ,indeed, is not typical of the kinder Nik. Liz whips by to remind him of how harmful this can be.Why does Elizabeth keep an eye on Nik.? Tis' getting old to this fan.. HA Enough is enough..
While Sam and Jason are investigating a possible scene of adultry at the hotel, they spy a curvaceous blond waiting for her lover. A call comes ,and it is from an innocent acting Edward. oops..Of course, Edward is running late. After eons , the mayor's wife Andrea pushes Edward to drink his martini which she has laced with Digitalis. This drug can be fatal for someone who has a bad heart. When Robin confronts Andrea with the fact that Edward was at the hotel the night of Brianna's death and can testify, Edward says: "I wasn't there."He leaves to drive to the carnival without getting to see his blond bombshell.
Back to the carnival.. Poor Claudia is walking around alone while Sonny flirts with Olivia. He just happens to bump into Olivia at the Carnival. They reminisce about olden golden days at Coney Island.Olivia appears to let her guard down soooooooo. What happened to Johnny?
A dangerous Anthony is planning a major hit on Sonny's warehouse domain. He tells the killers to kill Dominic. However, John takes Dominic's place. Even more peril occurs when Spinelli intercepts a call for Jason.Rather than bother Stoneface who is with Sam, a naive Spinelli goes to the warehouse to deliver some papers. All hell breaks out when Edward loses control of his car and drives into an unknowing crowd of Carnival lovers. Apparently, the drug caused Ed to lose consciousness. Oh Me! Is he going to kill himself or someone else.? During all this chaos, Jake disappears too.The fun and games have ended for Port Charles citizens as they flee.Tune in tomorrow to see how this outrageous affair turns an otherwise happy/ fun occasion into a nightmare..
