General Hospital Update for Friday, 28-Aug-2009

So August ends on a high note in Port Charles--as Jason and Sam found Michael and Christina (was there any doubt?), Gisele gets arrested for blackmail (and Kate's smirking about THAT one) and Andrea Floyd knows that Robin's on to her! Wow!
Let's start with the big story of the day. Michael has just bought Christina a plane ticket home (and he did this by pawning the watch he'd stolen off one of their cabana customers) and now he's facing the music with the customer.
Before the customer arranges his face, Jason and Sam just "happen" to walk in. Jason pays off the ticked-off customer, and everyone heads back to Jason and Sam's hotel room to get ready to leave Mexico.
Of course, complications set in. Jason's starting to feel his gunshot injuries, from his latest battle with Jerry Jacks, and a concerned Sam calls the doctor.
While he's resting, Sam brings Christina up to speed, telling her that Alexis is taking the rap for the car accident and all charges against Michael have been dropped.
Michael, however, has headed back to the resort and his job, and tells Jason that he's staying in Cancun! Uh oh....
Meanwhile, back in Port Charles, the word is getting out about the teens' being found--and all family members are happy. Carly's immersed in plans to redecorate Michael's room, and Keefer is sniffing around for clues. Morgan's right--he really is Christina's loser boyfriend!
Over at Crimson magazine, Lulu and Maxie are freaking out about telling Kate that Maxie has missed deadline for her latest article, but they shouldn't worry.
Lulu finds screaming headlines on the internet about the arrest of Couture editor Giselle for corporate fraud, which Kate already knows about and is grinning from ear to ear about--for as she tells the girls, Jacks helped her engineer it! That's what you get for messing with friends of Jacks, right?? Guess Giselle won't be blackmailing Kate anymore...
Finally, Robin, Andrea Floyd and the Brianna Hughes murder case. Patrick finds her eavesdropping outside Alexis' office, listening to Robin tell Alexis why she thinks Andrea Floyd did the deed.
He tells her to just go in there and confront everyone which she does--but now she knows they are on to her. Robin comes back to Alexis' office later (why, I don't know) and as she's in there, Andrea is right outside!! It's getting warmer!!
