General Hospital Update for Friday, 21-Aug-2009

It's a hot August Friday in Port Charles. Lucky, Liz and the boys are having a picnic at the Spencer home and have invited Spencer and Nick, Morgan and Carly are enjoying ice cream at Kelly's--also with a guest, and Sam and Jason are drawing closer in Mexico.
I also can't forget to mention that Jacks has learned Olivia's secret about Dante and Sonny and Claudia are grieving for their dead son.
Let's start off with Jacks, who overheard more than he bargained for when he heard Kate talk to Olivia about Sonny being Dante's father at the MetroCourt.
He tells Olivia when he sees her that he knows, and Olivia opens up and tells him everything--just not the part about Dante being in Port Charles working undercover to get Sonny.
He knows everything else, though, and gets an eyeful when he meets Carly and Morgan at Kelly's. Why? Because their guest for their impromptu ice cream party was none other than Dante, who was working undercover as Dominic.
And the reason the wheels are working overtime in his brain is because he also sees Olivia, very obviously freaking out!
Over at the Spencers, the family barbeque is going well, and Nick is starting to let his hair down--even though he and Liz are sneaking smoldering looks at each other.
Lucky decides to take the boys for icecream, leaving Liz and Nick to their own devices. And of course, Lucky is as clueless as usual!
There's a thunderstorm, and soon the pair is soaked to the skin, and things are getting a smolderin', if you get my drift...poor Lucky! Nothing happened, but give it time, give it time...
On to Claudia, who is grieving over her dead baby after baby furniture was delivered in error. She insists to Sonny that she wants to keep the rocking chair and overstuffed bear, even when Sonny and Johnny later, gently ask her to have it returned.
Sonny takes off, and Claudia assumes he's going to see Olivia and makes nasty comments about Olivia to Johnny, which didn't help matters.
Sonny actually did a very nice thing, going to Port Charles University to set up a scholarship in the name of their son. Nice...
Finally, Sam and Jason. Jason is still recovering from his gunshot wounds in Mexico and is improving, with Sam's help.
The pair remembers their time in Hawaii, among other things, and are obviously drawing closer. The sparks are starting to happen again, and it's nice!
