General Hospital Update for Friday, 31-Jul-2009

Hey, it wouldn't be summer in Port Charles if someone wasn't on the run, right? And yes, someone's on the run! And yes, Jason (with Sam at his side) is in hot pursuit!
What else happened? Alexis is in very hot water indeed, Claudia is grieving for her lost baby, Jerry Jacks is BACK--and Lulu is discovering how much "fun" having not one, but two brothers can be!
Let's start with Michael, who is on the run with Christina. The teens originally ran away because Michael was thinking that he was the person who ran Claudia off the road, causing her to crash her car--resulting in the death of her unborn child.
They broke into a closed seafood restaurant, helped themselves to fish tacos and prepared to make a break for it--but were caught by a cop as they were trying to figure out the car's GPS system.
Christina was able to put on an act, getting the cop to back off, but the teens decided to abandon the car and make a break for Mexico on the bus.
Meanwhile, Jason and Sam are hot on their tail--even after dealing with their own mechanical breakdown, courtesy of Spinelli. (He was trying to make their SUV a hybrid!! sweet...)
They also wound up in the same seafood place, but weren't as lucky as the kids--as an eager-beaver cop beat them to it and arrested them. He kept them there while he was looking for warrants and was crushed when he couldn't find any current ones!
Meanwhile, back in Port Charles, things are getting bleak for Alexis. After Diane got a court order to have both her vehicles tested for possible involvement in the accident, she got bad news: although one car was cleared, the other vehicle had a speck of paint on it that matched the car that Claudia was driving.
Alexis immediately confessed to Mac and Lucky that she was the hit and run driver--but admitted to Diane later that she was protecting Christina!
Although Carly originally was gloating when Jacks told her the news (she swore up and down that Alexis was framing Michael!), she was convinced that she didn't do it when Jacks got her to admit that she was probably taking the rap for her daughter.
On to Jerry Jacks. (Welcome BACK Sebastian Roche!!) Claudia calls him, asking him to find Michael and he goes into action, sweet-talking some flunky to do a trace on the car's license plates, placing the teens somewhere in Virginia. He immediately books a flight there--so now we have Jason, Sam and Jerry looking for them.
Finally, Lulu and her big-brother problem times two! She's over at Jake's, where she is soon chatted up by Dominic Pirelli, aka Dante Falconeri.
The two are playing pool, when Ethan butts in and then Lucky sticks his nose in things! One thing leads to another, and soon there's a good old fashioned bar fight going on! Poor Lulu!
And we'll have to wait to see who winds up as a guest of the PCPD!
