General Hospital Update for Friday, 17-Jul-2009

It looks like we're finally going to find out who the father of Claudia's baby is, as the test results are now ready. But before we get there, check out what else happened in Port Charles today!
Trouble found Michael at the Country Club and thankfully, his parents were ready to step up and help him. Kristina is getting more than she bargained for from Keefer, her boyfriend, while Alexis and Olivia bonded over life with Sonny. Almost forgot to mention that Rebecca broke the news that she's moving in with the Quartermaines to Nicholas, while Spinelli and Maxie had a romantic date on a rooftop. Busy, busy, busy!!
We start at the Port Charles Country Club, where Kristina, Keefer and Michael are playing backgammon by the pool. The boys get really intense over the game and soon Keefer calls Michael "Coma boy" and "Retard" and other lovely comments.
Since Michael has a short fuse right now anyway, it doesn't take long before the punches start flying; bringing out Chip, the smarmy club manager. The boys smooth things over the first time, but are not so lucky the second time.
Chip comes out again and dismisses Christina and Keefer, but keeps Michael with him. He calls Carly and tells her there's a problem. Once she gets there, he tries to get her to sign a form banning Michael from the club forever.
Chip doesn't realize he's up against the force that is Carly--and does she let him have it! After she called Sonny, telling him to get over there pronto, she lays into Chip, starting off with calling him a pompous ass! So well-deserved!!
Anyway, Sonny makes a grand entrance with Max and Milo and Chip looks like he's ready to code. A GREAT scene!!
Meanwhile, Keefer has taken Christina home and is there when she wants to change clothes--but he thinks more needs to happen. He's trying to get her and him into her bed, and she's telling him she's not ready. After he forced her to kiss him, she hauled off and slapped him--and hopefully it ends there--but I'm worried! This kid really is a rotten apple...
While all this was going on Alexis was at Olivia's place, trading war stories about life with Sonny with Olivia. Lots of wine was being consumed, if you get my drift!
On to other subjects. Rebecca broke the news to Nicholas that she is moving in with the Quartermaines, but naturally doesn't say why. As we remember, that's the condition set by Edward when she was asking for the $10,000 loan. This is going to get a lot worse before it gets better for Rebecca, as I really do think that she's starting to care for him.
Nicholas is crushed, and calls to cancel the planned rennovations to Windemere.
But Maxie shows up all of a sudden! This is because Spinelli left her a poem with clues in it telling her where to meet him--and both her and Lulu misread them, thinking that he meant Windemere! Nope!
Spinelli is planning his romantic rooftop dinner for his lovely Maxinista while she's racing around Port Charles trying to solve his puzzle. She finally figures it out and they meet; sitting down to enjoy the sunset and a scrumptious meal. Aww....
Finally, the big news of the day is that we're going to find out who Claudia's babydaddy is. She had the amnio, with Sonny at her side, and arrangements were made to send the test out to a secondary lab as an insurance policy. Claudia got the envelope at the end of the show, and we'll be finding out soon!
